Thats not true and not what he ment.
In the first reborn season we had 3 fights per day on a 3 day period.
Now we have 2 fights during the whole period of planar. And it doesnt seem like a bug, its a change (that was not announced anywhere)

In Season 1, challenge attempts refresh daily. Starting from Season 2 and onwards, challenge attempts refresh each round. The specific refresh times are subject to what is displayed in the client. Generally, each round allows 2 attempts in the early stage of the season, and 3 attempts per round in the mid-to-late stage. Thank you for your understanding.

Sadly this wasn’t communicated to the masses beyond a small piece of text that many have missed, and therefore wasted 2 fights before their teams had gone up in level on the 3rd day 😢
