This applies to dungeon speed running, planar expedition, chief challenges, vortex, etc.
If your entry (damage dealt or time) falls within the top five, your team comp and gears shouldn't be revealed. Imagine the raging vortex before relaunch but heroes used would be blanked out. The first five entries are automatically masked then are progressively revealed if they are bumped down the rankings.
Currently, you're disincentivized for saving entries early. People can't always wait for the last day and keep delaying it as much as possible.
The game revolves around ideas and executing them. Say you came up with a great idea for planar expedition and save it, then ten others in your guild copy the same comp but with a better mythic here or an inspiration there. You're basically penalized and lose out on rewards.
The same goes for dungeon racing. Copying is so rampant that at some point, it comes down to who has more skill haste in their runes. The issue is further magnified when you realize you're racing for 250,000 affinity solvents at week 3 (which might be a completely separate issue).
The masking could apply to each chief challenge boss as well and not the total damage rankings. Team comps should be revealed once rewards are settled. I don't know if it should be a thing for temporal vortex since it's daily.
