In original Dragonheir version many veteran players use little Epic and Rare heroes. Only Legendary + few best Epic and Rare.

Now in new version Legendary heroes it is acquired much faster and who now use Epic and Rare heroes?

I propose add to game Hardcore Mode.

Rules:

  • Players can turn on Hardore Mode in first two weeks on each season. Later this option is unavailable.
  • When player enter Hardcore Mode he can play all game modes standard but he must use ONLY Epic and Rare heroes. Everywhere, in dungeons, raids, temporal vortex, main story, arena. Legendary heroes is not available to deploy when player is in Hardcore Mode.
  • For obtain Hardcore Mode rewards player must complete season in hardcore mode (not turn off hardcore mode before season ends) and must obtain minimum Hard Training event rewards in each week (player lost Hardcore Mode rewards if not obtain lowest Hard Trainint event in each week)

Rewards for complete season in Hardcore Mode:

  • 300 Heliolite Dice
  • 1 Legendary Hero Option Chest
  • Avatars, frames, mounts etc

I know player not chance to hight rankings in Arena and events if use only Epic and Rare heroes but hardcore mode is for:

  • Give players profitable reason for use Epic and Rare heroes in game.
  • Earn more heliolite dices in funny and strategically way.
  • Give players strategic challenge.

Please show this to developers team 🙂

I like this idea but I also feel like it would never be implemented because whales would have a fit about not being able to i5 their epics with 💳 s

Yeah, I feel it would be detrimental to the development of the game with the drop in revenue with no incentive for anyone to drop some £.

Maybe this "hardmode" works but maybe not like this.. but can challenge in the dungeon each week have 3 tickets to fight the bosses with the hardmode selection(rules like buff on boss or make them stronger etc) and only get to use 1 legendary in the fight(or just all epic and rare) to fight the boss to get more rewards like 200 wyrm each clear with guaranteed Mythic equipment on that boss. that way whales still can use their lego heroes but only 1 or just use epic and rares only.

Challenge mode seems cool yeah. Weekly ACTUAL challenge instead of weekly chore seems welcome.

True it is like a chore.. that's why if give wyrmarrrows 200= 2 dices x 3 tickets equals 6 dices a week... very happy.. what if the rule is only get to use 1 hero in each fight.. like if you use aldolpus you can't use him with the remaining 2 tickets...

I don't think this hardcore mode would work, but I am in support of adding weekly challenges with limitations / restrictions on characters, or even a copied fae meander mode that can't use legendary heroes, or an arena mode that only utilizes epics / rares. There's a ton of interesting design space they can utilize with this and it would make the game way more interesting for some of us. Game right now is way too easy everything is auto-farm outside of setting up the team for the first time, and when there is no challenge the game becomes just a chore clicking simulator.
