That mechanic is meant to be handled by dpsing until the "chewing" bar is gone. If it's continuing until they eat another character, it means that you're not doing enough damage to break the mechanic. It's not an issue with ripekas.
The Chewing bar stays there. It nevers goes away. It nevers deplete.
He even does the throw up and do the cloud but never release Ripekas and eats another character.
Ah make sure you include that, as THAT is the bug. It wasn't mentioned that the bar won't deplete at all
Believe Ivellios and Theravol and Nastjenka got tons of dmg. I'm even close to kill it but since it bugs out, he keeps eating other characters until there is none.
Also sometimes they even appear as Dead and Mithrasea can't revive them.

This is not a bug. A single devour phase ends only after the boss takes damage equal to 10% of its maximum health. Once the boss’s Ultimate Energy is full, it will initiate another devour, and each devour phase is timed independently. If you still have questions, please share a screen recording with us. You didn't understand either. It is a bug. I had done to it TONS of Dmg even getting close to kill like with less than 10% HP total and the Chewing bar never depletes, it stays just like that in the screenshot, always there always full and it never release Ripekas even if he does is vomit move when he normally release the unit he swallow.

Ok but do you really think a Dauntless Team do not do enough dmg? They atk so fast they could almost melt the monster in a few seconds.
But for a second lets just assume I do not do enough dmg. So in this case well if I can't do enough dmg well the unit he swallowed would be dead for sure and then of course will eat other on the swallowing phase but Ripekas heals so much because each time the Boss is chewing he heals a ton then Ripekas also heals, he even gets back to full HP if he was dying, that insane of a healing. So the boss can't never kill him.

I pause it to take the screenshot but you can see that Ripekas is still alive but Chained. He didn't return him after throwing up and the Chewing Bar stayed full and also ate Mithasea so I have two characters inside the Boss.
hmm the Death log only shows Death for Ivellios and Tharivol.
I understand what you saying of the 10% HP but look at this new screenshot. I did deplete his Chewing Bar (is not there anymore) yet Ripekas is still chained and did not returned. So I feel there is some off/weird here.
On the first one there was a bar but this one doesn't have any.
I think the game did not consider that Ripekas could heal to full HP inside the belly of the Beast and assume he would die if staying long time.
The boss also does not spit out other chars. As long as it doesn't kill them, it keeps trying to eat chars but fails until it kills the char currently in its mouth.
For me it is currently Eurion, Felosia and Ladehlia. I don't have these problems with Acilia.
Torrin was always there as a healer for the chars mentioned and stood directly behind them.

haha yeah I'm pretty sure that is a bug. I'm sure that wasn't intent to happen like that but they keep saying "it's the mechanic" The problem just happens under certain situations so might not be that easy to replicate.
It can eat the dauntless orb.
