#A Different Steam Log In Issue
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
A follow up with some additional information for getting to the cause. I installed yet another browser, Opera GX and had the same result, except that it also popped up a Windows notification about needing an app for the "msdkweblauncher28111 link". The resulting search provided no resolution.
Using that as a reference I did a search and found a Steam Dragonheir forum comment about a very similar issue from November 2024.
Dear Traveler,
To better assist you, please provide a complete screen recording of your operation, your device information and operating system, as well as the log files.
How to provide logs:
- PC: Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\Dragonheir Silent Gods\logs.
- Android Mobile: Navigate to Android/data/com.sgra.dragon/files.
Please find the log files ending with .log. If file extensions are not displayed, you might not see the .log extension. Example: dragon_log_xxxxxxxx.log. Kindly compress all log files and send them to us.
Once we have the information you provide, we will immediately submit it to the team for verification and resolution. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Logs and PC specs provided. Nothing about a screen recording would be informative. I click on Google Login, it takes me to my default browser and I approve the Google login which sends me to the "Login success" screen. Nothing else happens with the game client and it doesn't log me in. The added info from earlier is the only additional information and it's in a screenshot.
Dear Traveler, thanks for your cooperation. The information you provided has been submitted to the relevant team, and we believe that it will expedite the progress of issue resolution. If there are any updates, we will contact you immediately.
Getting the same issue here. Not able to login via Pc client on steam.
Not just Google, I Tried all login options available there. Facebook, Google and Apple ID.. nothing works and not able to play the game.
I'm having the same issue and it started today. It was working fine this morning.
@amber locust @sand pond @wicked crag Dear Traveler,
May I ask which browser you are currently using? You may try switching to a different browser to see if the issue persists. If the problem still exists, please provide your device information, operating system, and game log.

Multiple browsers used: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera GX. Same result.
I also used multiple browsers. Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and all have the same results.
Well noted. Let me report it again. I will get back to you once I have any updates.
I wish you could login w/o the need of a browser like before and also stay logged in.
I had the same problem, and I solved it. You will need to log out of your web event account and change your browser account to the one you need (preferably log out of your gmail account so that you can enter your email details when prompted again, rather than automatically logging in) + do not set up automatic login memorization after a browser request (when you log in to the game, you are redirected to your browser, where in the window that appears you confirm the transition, after which it writes that the login was successful and returns you to the game menu - in this window that appears in the browser, you don't check the remember box).
What do you mean by log out of "your web account"?
If you meant from the website. Ok I did logout, I even logout my email. Yet everything remainds the same.
I copied the initial opening link from the game into a private tab to avoid any pre-existing cached data. Even after a completely start-from-fresh input of the full log in procedure it produced the same result.
Log out all web-event where was, log out gmail account. And delete all log file in document \appdata\locallow\sgra\dragonheir silent gods\ - it me help 🤷
II wrote additional information, take a look. And regarding private windows in the browser - it doesn't help, I checked, because the main Google account is pulled up, from which you haven't completely logged out.
Private tabs are blank slates and preserve no log in information or other cached information. By default Private Tabs aren't logged into any account, which is why I have to choose which account to log into.
"delete all log file in document \appdata\locallow\sgra\dragonheir silent gods"
This is the solution that worked for my account. @dark void @wicked crag @sand pond
Thank you @rigid bronze
No problem. I was glad to help 👍 😀
Ok Let's try that
I deleted all that was there but still the same
And delete more all log file in document c:\user(your name comp)\appdata\locallow\sgra\dragonheir silent gods\ 🤷
and still not working
Try clearing your browser cache, deleting those log files, then try logging in.
Nope. WHat about this on Steam?
After you cleared your browser cache did you get a prompt to log in to your Google account or were you still logged in? Whatever is causing the issue seems to need a completely clean start to finish operation. Try it this way...
Start by deleting all of the log files and then load the game. When you click log in and your browser opens, copy the URL in your browser and paste the URL in a new private tab. Then use the private tab to log in to your Google account and finish the process.
The thing is that the Browser never opens
I do all that but when I get here it still tried to login and browser never opens
That might be an entirely different underlying issue then. I would start by uninstalling the game and making sure there are no residual files in any of the game installation path areas including the above mentioned AppData. Then do a clean install and see if that moves you along.
I also did that a deleted everything on the folder
It's really strange cuz it was working fine the first day.
and after a while trying it says that
The Dev team will likely need to see an error log from your attempt then to try to figure out the cause. Open a new bug report and include the screenshots. Also, you should have new log files in both locations after you try to log in, so save those into zip files and upload them under your bug report. That will give Flora everything needed to send to the Devs working on it.
Oh, and also they will want your system specs and OS information.
Yah I guess though it kinda seems like the same thing, it's not. Anyway Thanks for trying. I will do another report.
