Why do I get the sneaky suspicion that all of this feedback falls on deaf ears
Well there been like a bunch of this
It doesnt and they always stated they want to be back in the USA, but thats not done just like a snap of a Finger... legal boundaries cant just be swept away.
They never really stated why, but as this was a Deal between 2 huge chinese companys its mostlikely a Monopoly issue, and thats hard to overcome
I could be wrong, but I think the fact that we don’t have a single piece of concrete info regarding this is pretty easy proof that it all falls on deaf ears.
Of course they’re going to say they want to bring the game back to USA. What kind of business would say they don’t? Doesn’t mean they have any actual intentions of that happening.
Well, than dont believe it, but stop complaining about it... you get infos you dont want to believe , thats not on us
I sincerely dont mean to be rude. I’m trying understand. 2 Chinese companies? Monopoly? I’d love to understand better what you mean and how you came to be confident in this info.
Tencent and bytedance are two huge companys for gaming and other stuff, and especially tencent is involved in a lotnof different markets in China and even in Military as far as i know
So the assumption, US-legal-entities dont like that is quite easy to figure out, and while bytedance is retreating more and more from special markets in gaming, tencent and their subsidiaries are not and potetbially buying more of bytedance games. Leaving them as one of the few global players to that
And both are considered global players as far as i know
I get stuck at this part. What exactly is quite easy to figure out?
What don’t they like?
Chinese game with chinese servers... ? Data from US players ... ?
Oh man… maybe I’m old. I’m genuinely confused
You’re saying that the US govt banned DH because it’s a Chinese game with Chinese servers and also because it has personal data of US citizens?
lol
Break it down to me like I’m a 5 yr old
Tencent has been declared a chinese military technology company by us government lately, USA and China never been friends really, so its the most likely thing why dh, a tencent owned company (by tencent subsidiary proxima beta(also known as level infinite)) has trouble in the USA
Other games from Bytdance are also banned from US. The newest ones are Marvel Snap and Watcher of Realm.
