Heilung is totally fine and appropriate, "Regeneration" or "Genesung" is just more eloquent

That is not true. In Germany you have to use Regeneration or shorter Genesung!

Find ich auch. „Genesung“ sagt im rl auch kaum jemand, und mit „Regeneration“ verbinde ich eher einen Sonntag auf der Couch als einen physischen Heilungsprozess. 🙂

Nein, der Begriff entstammt aus der Zeit der VERBOTENEN NSDAP!

Sorry but wrong. The Word Heilen/Heilung isnt originating im the NSDAP era, it is way ilder. And if we would ban every Word in germany, thats been used by the nazis, we wouldnt have many words left

Sure, the Word Heilung has been used by them, but its origin is way older.

Same as the Swastika has a different meaning than what the nazis made of that Symbol... and therefoe is still inherited deeply in some cultures.

And where did you see the Word reich? In what corresponding surrounding?

Cause "Reich" itself is still a viable and normal Word even in Germany... cant make nazi-relations to every thing... than you could ban the word Mutter also... as they had a very special standing in nazi germany

Meanwhile: the word healing is translated to heilung by every game i know thats using those techniques... Regeneration is usually a "heal over time effect" wheras Heilung is a direct healing of hitpoints...

Further more we have censorshipping.
Mans older word are outdated.

Was bedeutet Genesung?

Genesung ist ein Begriff, der vom Fachbegriff der Rekonvaleszenz abgelöst wurde und die letzte Phase einer Erkrankung vor Wiederherstellung vollständiger Gesundheit meint. Insofern kann Genesung auch mit Heilung gleichgesetzt werden.
