Season end downtime

My clepsydra ended 3 days ago. There is no content in this game after clepsydra ends... Why do we need a downtime of a week?
1 week of literally nothing going on.

A day or 2 of downtime is enough.

I think it takes 1 week to wait for other servers nearby finished. Then they will merge in the next season.

Merge is needed. The game already half dead, So Its a must have

Game is good but the devs and the whole company(old and new) is one of the worst
