How is this possbile Dragonheir Team?

Competetive players like me can´t login to the game while others can and the server Endboss fight is running, where every day counts.

This is a total fail towards the community especially for people that spent money into your game.

What is going to happen what should players like i do quit the game like many others even tho i like it.

It seems not fair.

Please give us any info!!!

@prisma wedge You are not even close of aware the span of this "small" issue with IOS you have that are for some people 5 inspiration and more ressources for the next season and their account.

In my alliance 20 players can´t login and we are a semi whale alliance that are accounts that spent each since day 1 around 1,5k+ with one player even at 25k+ €.

And you are telling us this is a crazy joke. You guys can´t be serious in the alliance chat people talk about quiting the game after waiting nearly a month of maintainance and not complaining that we iOS Player can´t even play the event.

You guys should get some speed on the topic or you can shut it down also and the migration was burning company money so much from my side.....

The situation is really ridiculous. But let's be honest here, they have poorly managed this game since season 2. I don't really expect anything positive at this point.

Would not even be surprised if they rerun this exactly same season in 2025.

Can't help my alliance, even if I liked to Google I have only iOS devices at home.

When IOS gets back (a week? A month? 3 months? Who knows...) than I see if they have showed any signs of respect to players, if not i just quit as probably should have done on the first signs that this is not going well long ago.

compensation sound like it is going to last for a while.

iOS/apple players will be delayed beside of the others, regarding to quests and levels, + iOS players might not be able to participate to some events, the most important in this game history: it’s after a month of shut down (which might already be a Guinness records), 100 wymmrow/day will not compensate the delay from other players, and will not compensate the events we missed…

And as it has been already said you acting surprised, as if swift documentation and apple app deployment process and constraint doesn’t exists. I don’t get it 🤷‍♂️

  1. you load you game from your iOS device and download the patch

  2. On the account icon you choose to login with iOS. When you downloaded the patch, because the game shows you your server is under maintainance, but you see you characters

  3. Then click again on the account Icon since you saw your character the data is loaded and link it to Google. You will be redirected to Google where you have to login. A pop-up will come redirecting you to the privacy notice, accept all of those.

  4. Close the game and login via Steam with the Google Account and you can play. Maybe you need to accept the privacy notice here again 🙂

The compensations Still need to be fair. No matter the situation is Apple’s or DH’s problem.
We already lost 1 day of endgame rewards and sandcores.
No sandcores=we can’t buy anything form the season shop.
Also I was in top50 on my server.. 0 sandcores means I’m going to fall from golden season shop to bronze(?). Which means I’m going to get the worst tickets instead of a golden ones.
AND I can’t buy anything because of 0 sandcores.
I suggest the following: give all Apple users who can’t log in 300 sandcores/day(that sounds acceptable) and let all of them to buy from the golden shop.
Plus: give all of the Oak event code rewards. Because obviously we can’t use them until they are available.
And personally this 2 things I’m going to miss… are enough for me to not even coming back.
I don’t have illusions but Could you just tell this to the devs?

Who get the heros? I don't because I have both i5 Calavera and i5 Ardreth so that's messed-up as well but that's on the other thread.

But here we are talking prolonged shutdowns for ios players. The issue is not only not being able to play but letting down my alliance and loosing sandscore because we are loosing rank.

Getting bread and ticket as compensation makes no sense, makes no difference. It is same as nothing.

you have some other scenario. for a person who linked their Apple ID to the account and on iOS device like iPad, when the game bring us to the server screen, it is the old version, with old background, with server that are named Hor Hill II for example. The download doesn't start on it's own, there is no option to manually download, in apple store DH version is 1.0.x, 9 months old.
So whatever you are saying makes no sense unless you provide details

We understand that there is a transition and bumps , but we can't understand being disrespectful to players. We are every day loosing rank that we built in the beginning of the season.

In time of dificult it is simple keep players on their side.

It is the end of the season on my server. I didn’t claim the final reward from the boss. I expected to be top 10 on my server. Well, back IRL l'm a developer, so l know how complicated it is to create, maintain, improve an app, I know being part of a team like that it's harsh, full of success and unconsidered complication, like it is today: successful to finally made up this hard migration on time, lot of deception of failing this iOS thing .., from a gamer perspective, this situation screw up the entire gameplay, based on competition and lil bit of collaboration, if | don't spend lot of $ in the season to come l'll be delayed even on season 18 so | wouldn't be surprised if you recommend a refund (mostly regarding the way you want us to catch up: few diamonds that you can get for few $), I payed to being good, it's a complete waste regarding to this long wait of iOS migration, when a lot player get 1-2-3-4 lego/days, when only iOS player did not even turn on the game.
Sorry for the plea but l don't feel like your bosses get the point to give REAL news, and REAL ways to feel like we didn't not threw up the money we
already spent.

Theg going to deduct the golden crystal amount of your server(it’s going to minus) then They going to send you an ingame msg which is the following:
“untruthful refunds for X amount. If you don’t make your golden diamond into positive one for the following date: 2 weeks from the mail. Your account is going to be terminated. And you can’t play the game again with that account”.
that means ALL of your characters going to be deleted on the account. On all servers.

Since there’s no real communication, I’ll not give any advises. as a noob I tried to download the game yesterday, from steam .. from my Mac, it did not work ^^U (same for Linux).
Honestly if I don’t feel like I can’t catch up easy: the game is screwed for me.

You're going about this the wrong way. Either you secure your compensation now, or you will never see it later. Once the game starts for iOS users, it's a done deal. No one will ever change it retroactively. If you are one of the casual players who just wants to play, and not care about others getting an exclusive hero each day and you can't even login, and the developers give you a slap in the face by offering an insulting compensation, then this doesn't really affect you, you just want to play again, and that's OK. But most of the people will not be satisfied to continue the game like this, even when the problem for iOS users is fixed. I mean look at them, reading our messages for days, knowing the problem is dice, wyrmarrow, missing Oak event, and they don't even care to change compensation accordingly. They are just keeping quiet, sneakingly waiting for iOS to start working asking for our patience, but not offering relevant compensation. Yes, it's insulting. Even the feedback we got yesterday that iOS made a great progress was vague and there were no details. That is only to keep naive people waiting longer so as not to lose more players

the most fair decision is that we get THE SAME as everyone else. the chance to summon on the Oak event, for example, they could send us tickets in mail to be used as summon tickets for specific element. however many dice you have, that many tickets you can use. why should we get compensation that is WORSE from what Everyone else got? we got rekt by not playing the endgame boss and getting sandcore. now we will get double rekt for oak event, etc.

I am an iOS user and was on the road to be in top 50 of my server in S4.5. I can’t play but I know it’s due to Apple and that compensations will be reevaluated when we can play again. So no need to whine again and again. They don’t know when it will be up nor what will really be the compensations

Well, first since There’s no real communication, we dont even know about a reevaluation.
Second you have a game, a free one, if the game getting screwd, you don’t really mind .. it’s free.
Now you buy a new game on Xbox 🤷‍♂️, let says 120€, and devs changed the game play, your progression, you have to restart, your friend can play, but you don’t, you paid 120€, do you wait for a reevaluation?
You just a feel a like a cow getting pumped up till you are not worthy anymore.

Nope. If I enjoy playing it doesn’t bother me what other player can get and I can’t. I’m not Free to Play, but I surely spent less than top player (less than 200€ a month). So I wait till it’s back and THEN if I find that I lost too much I will surely complain. But Now we (the players) are flooding support for something they can’t do. They are not answering and come up with anything. It’s only the mods of the discord that can’t decide anything. No open communication, no fair compensation from the devs. It’s that what gives the feeling that they take you money and don’t care about fair value on the other side when it comes to problems like this. They don’t seem to care. It should be easy. Send out some pixel money (for them it’s no real money as for us) to make those happy and hold them in the game that already have invested a lot and payed their bills or being greedy, give no fair compensation and loose a part of your loyal player base. Should be easy to decide from their position. But maybe they have numbers to evaluate and see it’s not many they loose this way. Can’t explain their behavior else cause it seems so counterintuitive…

Hope that is not the good news you spoke of before as it does not help at all when you are depending on an iOS device. Where is the problem guys. Worked before? What is messed up now and how long will it take to fix. And don’t tell us it depends on apple all alone. I can’t imagine that you should not have any further information. The whole plan was scheduled for 28 days cause Apple takes always very long. Android and steam was ready end of first week of shutdown. And the problem is, the Review couldnt start during the playtime, as the data transfer frim old publisher servers to New publisher servers had to be completed before a Review could start.

And like i said before, no matter whos fault it is, the whole situation sucks.

I linked my account via google but only have IOS devices to play on -so I can't login. I am frustrated my the lack of transparency and blaming this issue on apple is not okay. The issue is communication! As soon as the developers realised that they would not be able to migrate the IOS data at the same time they should have made a statement, apologised, accepted responsibility and reassured the player base that they would be reasonably compensated and kept up-to-date with any news around date of completion. By not doing any of this it feels like the devs are just dishonest about what is going on. To offer bread and other garbage as compensation is a just a joke when we have already waited for over a month at this stage. This is just disappointing and it feels like the devs have given up on the older loyal player base.

How long does OAK event last? Will we miss it?

On my server the boss is gone already. Rank went to the trash bin from 19 to top 50% so I won't have exclusive summon tickets for next season.

Lost rank, sandscore and now without tickets I lost also 2 legendaries in 20 dices.

But the compensation is bread and auto tickets. Sure, they are doing a great job 🤦‍♂️

Nope it’s a step to play if you have been on iOS and you have non apple devices.
The big progress is apple validating the new company.
The biggest is done, apple is still reviewing, but they might send back the baby saying “ this is not safe, change that”, if it’s the case, it re-starts from 3 days to 2 weeks.

We will be able to play at some point, but still missing out events

the «compensation» you have offered, is not really compensation. I have played in top guild for many seasons, regularly ranking top 50. Missing out both on daily rewards, sandcore, season ranking rewards, login rewards, oak festival (and probably also the free hero from thanksgiving event), IOS users are in fact going to miss out on so much, to me it does not make any sense coming back at all. Giving bread/stamina at end of season does not make any sense at all, and 100 wyrmarrow a day compensation, when a normal average daily grind in the game gives you four times more, meanse IOS players will lose heavy - not compensated.

Don't think they will hear, it looks pretty stubborn at this point. But here it is.

The summon 20 tickets alone garantee 2 legendaries. To have the same garantee with nornal dices this would be equivalent to 70 dices (2 pity) or 24500 wyrmarrow. On the store prices this is 300€.

And that is the summons tickets alone, not counting sandscore, daily wyrmarrow and the OAK event that we are loosing.

Those are two different problems though. I read somewhere above that the issue with restarting the game on iOS depends on Apple and DH doesn't have any control on it.

The compensation is a whole different animal and I agree that it should be much better. I think that negative reviews hit them harder than posting here... But I don't want to be the voice of trouble, earlier I was just sharing an opinion.

Edit: for me this whole thing is puzzling. I play Angry Birds 2 as well and recently the game was purchased by a different company. There was no off time nor transitions on the players' end... And they have a much larger number of users. So I don't know man... Out of curiosity I googled how long it takes to Apple and Google to review and publish a new app and the result says "generally 48 hours".

Well, about your edit, angrybird is a different thing, the app and dependencies are lighter: we are talking about 4GB + 4GB here it’s an amount of code you cannot imagine there’s probably a dedicated review team, angrybird is 500mb, which is still a lot but 2 people on it would Done it in 2 days, in app purchase are less complicated than DH (so it takes longer), but that doesn’t really matter since DH made its gameplay on competition, meaning: pay you’ll be better (and you’ll maybe have a different experience on the game), this is why we want to attack them on App Store, if people pay (I’ve seen 25k€ above) to be competitive, why the new DH project team wants to loose them, why not attacking the APK itself: on the store.

A store review can be changed, how about a compensation that never append.
I am a developer I would feel very sad if my game reach the people that way, so even if it’s a drop in the ocean, bad rate is kinda .. a negotiation to compensate the people whom feels concerned by their place in this game 🤷‍♂️

Still as a developer, why ?
Why dont you even try to listen paying players, who feel betrayed, I believe you will change the gameplay / core game in the future, and you don’t care about “old players” whom won’t fit on the new game/business model. That’s the only option

We have almost no currency to spend in the seasonal shop because of it. We don't need basic rewards. We just need a fair amount of currency to spend in the shop despite where we placed! Be fair to players who played 6-8 weeks of a season to be locked out of any real value for doing so!

I get an error that is supposedly network related.. pretty typical, blame someone/something else… the solution I have been told is a VPN. So you want me to pay for another service so I can play your game? GFY! This is a fail.

A big thank you to the developers who gave me almost no currency to spend in the season shop -even though I played the season hard. Then you locked me out because I play on IOS devices and now basically have nothing to start the season with.👏

Totally feel you mate. Got 53%rank which give me bronze shop and 2HD where I’m normally in top 150 bracket and gold shop with 20HD. Absolute shame for this so called customer service. Will play and give the game a last chance but by now I won’t spend any additional money. Used the off-time for another game and did some spending there DH otherwise would have gotten. They now have to come with something good to see money from me in the future. Otherwise. They will lose another paying customer. Their decision. Gotta feel it where it hurts them

I still can’t get into the game. iOS on a brand new phone and in Canada. The connection error I’m getting is being blamed on something other than the game and the suggested solution is to use (pay for) a VPN!?!? Ridiculous.

I am grateful for the compensation as it will help a lot with progression. I however do not understand why we don't get some sandcore to buy items in the shop. A fair thing to do would have been to give everyone an amount equal to what the average player received at the end of the season. And then you should have added extra for every player because of the server maintenance. Where is the "goodwill" towards loyal players who waited to come back to the game and who are excited to play again? Doing these things for players literally costs you nothing and helps strengthen your player base!

Yes, 3000-4000 sandscore I lost is worth 40 dices or other things on the shop.
The 1600 wyrmarrow we got is worth only 4-5 dices.

And while lots of IOS players complain about the loss of sandcore and bad compensation, i get many inquirys from Android/steam users that the conpensation of 30 bread is ruining the season for all NON IOS players right from the start now as 1800 bread/energy advantage is huge in the start 😆 (30 bread x 60 energy)

And personally i understand both parts 😆 and i am Android too but it is what it is... but 30 bread is 12 days free energy refill advantage, that we now need to somehow catch up with smart play

And we couldn‘t compete in Hard Trainings, Dungeon Races etc., so lost a huge amount of bread and fight tickets anyway.

I literally have to pay for a VPN and only got back into the game yesterday so I feel that the amount of play and progress missed because of all this is NOT fairly compensated for. And the fact that most reasonable alliances are all full doesn’t help either. I’m so far behind now it’s not even laughable.

Sandcore isnt the solution either, unfortunately. You have to differ on what situation of the season a Player is. For you in endgame, now new season, sandcore to buy from Shop is good, but as is bread too. For someone middle of season, Shop already empty, sandcore sucks cause it doesnt help in this moment (therefore happy about bread)

There is no such thing as best solution for everyone, and they cant make it individual, thats way off the charts.
Sandcore would help some, bread others, wyrm would probably be the most fair solution, cause you can buy dice, bread, tickets.

Maybe a "pick one solution" via Button thing would have been a good idea, but to have that only for ios probably impossible

I lost 3-4k sandcore. There is no way 30 bread would help so much that I would get it back.

Bread help a bit on gear early season and position a bit better on vortex but that's it.

Will maybe help position a bit better in this season, but nothing close to get the 3-4k sandscore back.

All we do in the season is to get good placement, get sandscore and have a better start next season.

If I had sandscore I could buy Aladiah inspiration, dices for maybe getting Orfenna or Acilia in their banners or master scrolls.for heros I don't have scrolled.

Don't think this depends on which week you lost. It is just that the end boss is worst case since most of sandscore we would get are from there.
