I don't know who is responsible for the latest announcement about the details of the season timer continuing during the merge, but this is, again, way too late. We are already doing a rerun of a season, and one of the few motivations of it is to get extra resources, such as Pure sandcores for the season shop, or petals for Calavera dupes, but you have taken most of it from us, the ones that are playing in the first servers and we are in the 3rd week of the event. We will miss the otherworld exploration completely, and the petal shop will not reopen.
Players that are in other points of the season will also be affected somehow, like missing the S3 banner for example, or other stuff
You knew about this before hand, but decided, I'm not sure why, to withhold this information until the last minute. This is bad PR, it's horrible.
I don't know if Nuverse or Tencent is responsible for this, but whoever it is, they should get some coaching about customer communication.
