Yes, I'm familiar, and I play shadow, it's the meta in arena. Every time a meta in any section appears, there are requests to nerf them. rook is meta in vortex? Nerf rook. shadow is meta in arena? Nerf Shadow. You may have mithrasea and you may clear dungeons by cheating death in early game...I want her, I don't want her to be nerfed

S3. 12 sec video;) 120k hp/3k def mithra/syn, both hasted, 100k/5k garius. Just no chances. Zero. Against packed shadow.
I don't care about pve, where shadow is isn't good. But in pvp, this mechanic should be reworked. As rook and corrosion in pve.

In S3 you just use Theo and Feenja and shadow don't stand a chance

Top S3 shadow use hasted Tamar so theo/feenja isn't work.

How would it not work? Shadows hit Theo with battle skills and he 'dies' and then ults at 5th second - way before Tamar can do anything. And after he ults the other team is left with tanky healer. If they were lucky.

I agree with Ragor, but there is one thing that can make this not work. Almost all shadow use their BS not on tank, but on backline, especially Aspalta and Daphne. And they are deadly. The only way to avoid that is to have backline with a lot of HP and defense. Otherwise you healer or anyone else will die on 2/3 sec after fight start

And to explain what we mean, ypu should read Theos passive...

If he gets 0hp the first time, he gets ultimate full, built him with high CR, CD and DEF and he can oneshot the field

And no, i cant Show in my seaosn at the moment, i am just in week 3 and have not the right gear for it

Actually I know how to deal with shadow, even near-top one. But it takes alot of resources and way to much luck on rolling stats and still not even close to 100%.

Can't beat shadow? Shadow is easy farm with loads of counters. The problem is Astaion. She's a touch one to counter while trying to outspeed shadow

From my perspective the main issue with Shadow in Arena is how few counters there are and they're all very specific ones.

Over the seasons most other meta comps could at least be countered by some good epic/rare combos by making use of meggan/Adolphus for example, early stuns or the likes while for Shadow if you don't have the Undead Couple, Tamar or Asch + Majtan you only choice is your own better Shadow team.
That in of itself could be considered normal, leggos countering leggos but there was at least a fighting chance for f2p in earlier seasons that was lost with all the server merges.

That coupled with the sheer amount of Shadow teams + the increasingly difficulty in reaching higher ranking tiers is what I think is leading to much of the f2p/low spender frustration (You can basically substitute Shadow for Rook in PvE and the same reasoning could apply).

With a very crappy roster in S1 I was in Silver 2/3 in top 300, now I'm hitting top 150-200 and if I hit Bronze 3 once in the season it's a miracle.

Agreed that it requires specific counters. But a shadow team without Aspalta or a team without Asation is much easier to counter.

Fighting someone with the full shadow arsenal... Sure. That limits options

It didn't stop me from being regularly in first place (I have all the shadows except Ozul)
and I have no problem eliminating the shadows that I come across ^^
