So, after playing through all the seasons i need to say that i'm incredibly worried that my favourite mobile game is about to end.
I do not see any future in a game that keeps promoting imbalance despite the overwhelming community feedback on what to do to make the game better. I feel that the only reason Rook isn't balanced is that the game currently runs on the cash that comes down from Rook owners, a.k.a. "whales". Nerfing Rook in any way would most likely upset some of them a great deal and that's a red flag for the shareholders.
Another thing is that since tons of ppl are quitting the game, and the devs only care about getting new ppl in, the servers keep merging with more and more "elite" players who are veterans of the game, have plenty of experience and spent ungodly amount of cash in the game, hence competing even as a low to mid spender is impossible at certain point. Even despite having the knowledge, activity and a solid roster, i keep hitting a brick wall, every season it happens earlier, because i am mixed with a more whaley group of ppl. All that would be okish if the rewards would get properly adjusted. Sadly that does not happen.
The thing that attracted me to the game was the fact that you could really go far without spending cash, and that actually makes me wanna invest in the game, both time and money, cuz any good game needs average players that are there just for fun. Also the open world map, the campaign and the hero design was just amazing.
I would love to see proper changes in the game, but you guys are sloppy, slow and completely unresponsive, as someone who deals with the business side of things on daily basis, that seems unfathomable for me. You really have a gem of a game, why not listen to the voice of the ppl?
