There is too much RNG involved in the mythic system currently.
Take the gloves from venom, which are the priority for everyone. Precise Carnage gloves are what everyone is after as that massively boosts your damage vs any bosses.
However, the chance to get a mythic to drop, then have it be Precise Caranage and then have the main stat you want (Crit Damage, Crit Rate and that is pretty much it, although Attack % isn’t totally irrelevant) is so low.
Over the course of season 3 I have spent over 10k stamina in Venom 9, and I have seen lots of Precise Carnage gloves by now (over 50), however only 1 has Crit Damage main stat (and it has none of Crit Rate, Attack %, nor even flat attack) as a sub stat.
Unfortunately there is so much luck involved in getting a few decent pairs of these gloves, and it makes a massive difference to a players ability to compete.
Mythic equipment should have some changes.
E.g.
- Not drop with flat stat attack, defense or hp as the primary stat. It supposed to be mythic gear, nor garbage gear
- Have some ability, not via pay to win and not insanely rare (we got like 3 refines all season for lego attack gear) to re-roll the main stat
- Ideally also have some ability to re-roll sub stats.
