#Return the points ranking system in 1v1 Arena.

After having left a few days to test the new 1v1 Arena system, I feel the need to suggest that the ranking system please return to points.

The reason for this suggestion is that at the point where PvP is currently at, it is no longer necessary to play PvP. All you have to do is match the reset at a time when you can be present, do a PvP and roll 9 automatic tickets. Matter of 2 minutes.

I admit that not everyone liked this game mode, but there were people who enjoyed it, who enjoyed competing (I am among them). And with this new system the competition is over. It does not require effort or dedication, simply, and as I said before, be a whale with an unbeatable team or have the right timezone.

I think turning a game mode people don't like into IDLE doesn't solve the problem.

Also add that I think the change in rewards is appropriate and helps many players, but the change in the ranking system was absolutely unnecessary and, not at all, encourages playing this mode.

I totally agree with that. This new arena help more the big whale and even more the people on the right timing zone. You just have to connect before the reset and it's done. More the fixed refreshing time and limited ticket to 10 not allow us to enjoy the competition against others.

Yeah I'm really unhappy with it.

Took one of the few pieces of "repeatable" content in the game, even if the majority of players dislike it, and turned it into afk get 50 gems a day

Like I don't even have poeple to fight it's so boring...

Either they are unbeatable or they are instawin.

We severely lack content and they turned repeatable content into non-content.

Just feels like a massive waste of dev time to create a feature that's not really a feature.

Agreed; I posted this in the general feedback thread:

"Now that I've spent time with the new Arena, it feels worse. It's for sure less fun to play, compared to before. You are incentivized to play less, which a lot of people that did not interact with PvP of course like. That's fine in theory. The rewards are of course up as well, which is nice.
The main issue is that stall teams were NOT impacted at all, and their effects are worsened. More people now compete with higher ranks directly, and there are only stall comps left. This makes it a huge detriment once you rank down, or are too late to start to rank up. You are not getting through as an average player. Quite a few will get into the top 300 (max Wyrmarrow rewards), but many will not.
Another main issue is that the refresh time is now daily, and you are hugely incentivized to play right before that refresh happens. This gives a 'last-second' playstyle. Many people are asleep however during reset (UTC timezones), this is directly negatively impacting them. The incentives the devs introduced are downgrading the entire experience. Not for all people, but I think for many. Even if the rewards are up for almost everyone, making the game less fun is not something the game can use. It's going straight into a direction of making the numbers, pulling, the only things that count. The game itself was really fun in Season 1, and despite getting more heroes (options for teams), the game experience feels worse and worse every update. Maybe Season 4, with the promised updates and compensations, will once again pull people in, and make it more enjoyable to me, but I don't see any changes that will make the game more fun.

Tldr: this feels like short-term over long-term, making me worried for the future"

I agree with this post. I m kinda pvp-enjoyer and now it is just idle game which immensively favour the player in different timezones than UTC. Like reset is at 3 am for me. It was similar the last version when people make pushes before reset. But it was nothing to compare with this.
Now as being said, the stall comps are even more oppresive. So now pvp is about grabbing top ranks from the start and then put up stall comp.
Not funny.
But the rewards are very good.
I m now sitting at rank 17 refusing to farm eq dungeons before double rates. And it is good. Like getting 1000 psychocore points everyday also with honor points and wyrmarrow? Yes please.
Thing is, i have already got my Lucky cards before, so now that vast amount of honor points are in vain for me. Thats a shame.
I really like division between pvp and pve part of game. Thanks for that

The old system rewards continuity and dedication. No matter how much you rush in at the last minute, if you don't play and push during the week, it is impossible for you to rank high. With this new system, it is enough to do 2 - 3 PvPs to go from Top300 to Top 1 even without having played all week.

So I'm sorry, but no, it's not even close to being the same.

The only thing that remains the same is the abundance of stall teams.

We are not talking about the good things that have been added like rewards up and of course, speed x10. That's a good idea. But it could be better to have this with the previous version of the arena. The new one incentive people to play just before the reset and no more. Before, if you wanted to be ranked in the top, you had to play every day, use your 15 tickets to climb or at least stay more or less in the same rank. Now, this is useless. Just do 2 or 3 fights 30min before reset, jump from 150+ to top 25 or less and then do automatch with the others tickets if you see that the teams above you are unkillable. That's not PVP for sure.

you will always have people who wants to spend less time for a specific routine and then some people who want to be able to play more. not sure how they gonna balance this because both side has a legit reason to like/dislike lol.
