#"control invalid" while no protection active

Funny that Elecebre shows "resist" instead ... like it worked against her but not the other 4 heroes?
What shocked me is Hvitar's ultimate before Elcerebre. But i don't understand what do you mean. There is a shield at the begining so "Control Invalid" is normal with the Lucien's passive

Dear Traveler,
Thank you for reaching out to us. We apologize for any confusion caused. Regarding Theodemer's passive skill, it is designed for him to be unable to obtain a shield for himself, rather than preventing opponents from obtaining a shield.
When Theodemer uses the Taunt skill, if the opponent's Sigrid has Lucien's shield, she will not be affected by the control effect.
We appreciate your understanding and clarification on this matter. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to assist you.
What I mean is in chronological order:
1: everyone gets Lucien shield
2: Theodmer deals damage, shield is removed
3: after damage, taunt is applied
That's not how it works for Theodmer though? But it IS how it works for Tamar (and others?) if I remember correctly
As a small strategy lesson:
Meggan does BS on 3sec
Sagomir carrot instant
So Theodmer shoots at 3-4sec.
The taunt is control, so +10% TM due to Theodore for Hvitar. Then Sagomir is unbooked, so BS from him is >3sec after Theodmer, boosting Hvitar again for an 8sec ult
Yes so i repeat, why are you saying that the invalid control is not normal ? It is. I don't understand why you say that. the protection is active, it is a shield at the start of the fight
It's the order of checks. The invalid control is only active on shielded characters. Theodmer does enough damage to remove the shield and thus there should be no protection active anymore.
If the debuff/control/resist check for protection is before damage then that's weird as that's not the case for all champs. If it's after damage then it's bugged as the shield is gone and Sigrid is still protected.
I think the check is done before and for me it's a normal thing. you can't do damage and then do a check to see if you can apply or not the control. In a logical path, the check is done before for the control then the damage are done
But anyway, you won this fight so it's good for you 🙂
Dear Traveler,
We appreciate your inquiry. Please be informed that Theodemer's ultimate skill applies the buff first and then deals damage. Therefore, Lucien's passive skill can still take effect. Additionally, the buff application process follows the sequence of probability, followed by Accuracy/Resistance, and finally Immunity. Hence, Elecebre displays Resistance instead of indicating control immunity.

Thanks for the clarification, good to know about the sequence.
Can you tell me one last thing: Is the sequence identical for all characters?
And at what point in that sequence is an artifact/equipmentset included?
So to take an example: Voresh on a stunset (S1 / S2) + Witch's remains artifact:
[debuff]Probability -> [debuff]acc/res -> [debuff]immunity -> damage -> [stunset]probability -> [artifact]probability -> [stunset]acc/res & [artifact]acc/res -> [stunset]immunity -> [artifact]immunity
And that 3x in sequence ofcourse, for his tripple hit.
