Dear player please remember thy what might be easy for you might be difficult for another player, not all players have the same heroes either. A balance needs to be made as everyone needs to have a chance whether you P2W or F2P.
This is q ftp team, look at it. 3 epics and a rare. The boss has 0 mechanics
It would be virtually impossible to not get 22 million on a season 3 account.
Generally speaking: isn't that a good thing? I don't know about other bosses in S3 but allowing everyone to get the maximum reward in at least 1 Chef Challenge seems pretty nice to me.
What are your way too easy ftp teams for poison, light and especially radiant?
Yeah the ice is super easy but the other ones aren't

For 100m I would guess he is using witch remains and horn at least.
I think s3 is still challenging for some FTP players. But for even light spenders the hero and artifact pool to choose is making the gap quite big.
Content creators have already shown that the continental bosses are bugged. Most are not doing their basic attacks properly.
@sly oriole Firstly, having one Ice lego in season 3 is hardly not ftp. And zhorak is the worst of the 3 by a long way.
However, I have replaced him for the point of this discussion.
I have also gone to the only lego artifacts being Witches and the one from Fey last season. So one dupe, again, hardly not ftp friendly. Yes some unlucky people would have 0 dupes, but most active people all of season 1, 2 and 3 would have a dupe by now.
I replaced Zhorak with Voresh for this example. Why would you ask about replacing Bleddyn as well with Seidic. Having two damage dealers with one enabler doesn’t make sense, and I am not building Seidic just to show this. Nord only enables the top attacker, so Seidic would be give 0 ice crystals. Far better to have Gerthin, Bleddyn and Nord.
I asked because not everyone has bleddyn, not everyone has zhorak. Saying the chiefs are easy because you have the pieces that make it easy just shows that its not like that for everyone.
Making things even more difficult because YOU find something easy isnt how one plays with other players.

Season 1 was not this easy, maybe it was if you were a Kraken. For a normal player getting to 22 million was NOT easy. In fact it was typically not doable, and certainly not on 6 teams.
On season 3 it is EASY. As long as your an active player you have at least 2/3 of the epics, all the rares and at least 10 legos. Every active player can do 22 without issue.
The devs would easily be able to see how many people are doing 22 million or crazy amounts in season 3 compared to season 1.
Have a boss who one support can keep alive the entire team without even using a great artifact, who has no mechanics to the fight is very boring for season 3.
Find me someone who is struggling to reach 22 in season 3.
I can tell you for a fact that myself and any other player who knows what they are doing will have 6-8 teams in cold boss hitting 22 million every day in overworld exploration.

But whats the issue, all active players by s3 should be hitting the 22mil, its not that its easy its that youve started being able to hit properly because of practice and team building, its not supposed to be so difficult that you cant even hit 22mil because that then makes the game a chore instead of fun.
I just cant understand why someone wants to make content harder for everyone just because they find a boss easy.
There is no challenge left that is the issue. Why don’t you see if other people agree. And come on, not even you could say the bosses are comparably easy. The ice boss is a joke, for the second season running.

So you saying that because players arent supposed to hit 22m but they are doing exactly that, then it means that we need to raise the difficulty because players are actually doing what they are intended to do and that is hit 22m, screw the f2p players, screw the players that do leisurely play, screw the players that have jobs and families, lets rather raise the difficulty and not allow players to achieve rewards because thats boring.

Secondly, the game has increased in difficulty, its just easier because players know what to do and how to do things, the bosses are difficult maybe not for you but for many others, many players struggle even in s3 to get past 22m. You might not think of the other players around you, but the bosses arent exactly a cake walk, hitting past 22 is already a big thing for most players. We can even see in dungeons that difficulty has been increased.
The challenge is not 22m , the challenge in continentals always has been the ranking in damage , you compete for that , newbies/casuals reaching 22m is fine , go race vs other players how high you can go , idk why you are so fixated on 22m , why does it bother you that people can reach that , if you wanna rank you should be focusing on higher damage total.
So from my experience (S1 low spender, S2 spending some on the S2 exclusive banner)
Utior was really hard. I barely hit 7 mill with two teams and the rest was impossible to do well. I didn't understand the game mechanics well and was fully surprised on how to deal with those bosses.
Now it's S2 for me and I'm confident I can do 11 mill on at least 3 teams while the rest will be interesting to see what I can accomplish. I might even be able to do some 22 mill with a good try on my Iceblast (which makes me excited)
Looking into the content of S3 and the CC as well as those big spenders I can see why you feel it's lacking in challenge. But you're probably not all going to blast through all the content in S3. My guess is those not showing in rankings anymore shouldn't all be able to blast through all the content.

I expected you to realize that your suggestion is selfish and self centered. if you think its too easy then go try rank in top 10 every season, go make ad much points in every boss so be top player, what you want to do is make everyone else unhappy by increasing the difficulty even more just because you dont want to beable to reach 22m.
How is wanting a game to be challenging being selfish.

I appreciate every person plays the game for different reasons. If the majority of players are happy with the game being easier and easier each season then so be it.

So YOU like a challenge, yes you top 50, if it was really easy probably be top 20, though what about the players that dont even rank top 300? What about the players that are f2p so they dont have much in way of legendary artifacts? What about the players that havent yet been able to clear a fey or pillars? What about the new dungeon bosses that had to make you rethink everything? What about the chiefs where some heroes can't even hit past 22m like rally with radiant boss?
Just because you arent challenged enough doesnt mean all the other players are like that too.
Just go back and watch the cc vids from season 1. Ftp teams were not hitting 22.

The extra poison damage boss is way harder this season and last.
Completely unbalanced in comparison to cold in particular 2 seasons running.
Then the suggestion should be simething as follows:
Since we are season three the continental bosses have become very easy for some of us and they dont bring any kind of challenge, so why not make them like vortex where if you hit a the 22mil it unlocks a new difficulty where you supposed to hit 32 the 42 then 52 with the boss increasing in difficulty each week but you can choose which difficulty to do, the 22m being bare minimum that you supposed to do to give f2p their rewards like normal.
Just saying increase difficulty doesnt do anyone any good especially for a monthly event
In my opinion the whole point of the event does not lend itself to difficulty. It's meant to be a month long event where, if you at least try, you can pick up a welfare legendary to grow your account. Making it harder to the point where you need very specific champs to make it work would undermine that, and create a situation where only whales can earn the "free" legendary. I think we can all agree that's an awful change.
We already have otherworld and endgame where people can compete in a harder setting (OW will absolutely be harder for a lot of players just by virtue of requiring 70 champions to maximize score...). And Vortex.
I'm all for difficult content like high fey, high pillars, etc that requires people to use their brains, but making the only crumbs given to free to play players suddenly out of reach is a bad look.
that cc sucks. btw that's always not comparable. the amount of ressources he has for that team+legendary artifacts make it hardly f2p even if he does not use legendary heroes
Now that would be a selfish suggestion, asking for more rewards some players cannot get.
At no point did I say I wanted players to not be able to hit 22.
I said that compared to season 1 it was no longer a challenge and imo too easy.
Its not selfish, thats exactly what you want, a challenge, a difficulty where you thrive and others fail or barely meet minimum requirements, now that i give a way for that to happen so that you can be happy now its selfish, i just put what you wanted into words. "Its too easy" ok well rev up the levels like Vortex and you get what you want?

Nope thats exactly what you want, you want it to be more difficult and more challenging making it that players that already struggled will now not even beable to play as it will be impossible for them, just because you dont feel challenged doesnt mean that it isnt challenging for others. I interpreted right, you want to increase difficulty so that you can be challenged causing the weaker players to fall away.

Dont get upset just because we telling you the truth. You want it to be challenging by raising the difficulty, what do you expect would happen? Did you think all the players will suddenly do even better because the devs catered to a select few who dont feel challenged to an event thats for EVERYONE?

Yes it was, f2p players suffered considerably but mainly because they didnt have the resources, heroes and artifacts that they do now. We get better with each season making content easier with growth causing players who struggled to actually start achieving goals that they couldnt before. I dont know why you want players to suffer just because you feel bored

Everyone was aware you would need to use summons to complete the event which is optional.
Everything is available to everyone, including level 9 dungeons, vortex etc. by your argument someone who has no clue how to build teams and spends 10 min in the game should be able to get max rewards in them also.
Yes some people will quit who find the game hard. But this is not a super hard game. They are not the sort of people who will play long term anyway.
People who would play long term are quiting for other reasons. Game being too easy, game being boring as nothing too do, linked to no challenges left, and the garbage balancing in this game when you have legos like Rook compared to Lincos.
Game should have balance. It does not have to cater to people who make a limited effort being able to get max rewards.
And not all of season 3 is like this. The boss that takes extra damage from poison compared to the boss that takes extra damage from cold is chalk and cheese. By your argument the extra poison boss is far too hard.
And this is my opinion. If the games designer want to make it easy for everyone then so be it, they shouldn’t be surprised when people leave for the other reason.
Look at the cc’s. There aren’t many videos these days as what are they supposed to make a video on? There is no new content, no challenge. No one needs to know how to beat venom stage 9, bring out new dungeons for heavens sake. Outside of the week bosses are released there is nothing to cover.
Not that you would care but I am not alone in thinking this.
In other games like this new content is harder. That is not the case in this game, and yes it’s somewhat different as it’s seasonal.
There are a lot of players who would prefer less easy early game grind and more challenging interesting rewarding game play later. We aren’t getting any of that.
I would also point out that number 1 game in this genre, for years running, Raid, does NOT make it easy to complete every fusion etc.
And so clearly that doesn’t stop millions of people playing.
I quit raid as just to complete your daily chores took hours.
Season 1 of this game I was spending 8hrs a day playing as it was interesting and challenging. It’s not like that now as all the content is relatively easy. And I am not a big spender, I get most of the battle passes.
