i actually have encountered a bug where the dude keep lightning strike my alicia instead of garius. my alicia hp was tiny bit lower (use another gear with less hp bonus) but dunno why poseidon still lightning strike her. Had to change to another sub stat for him to stop targeting her.

yeah but this is just him having roots makes his hp pool way higher.

As the stats on items like that are calculated as the fight starts

I can't believe some people are in season 3 it blows my mind. i even literally just wrote what i wrote and still you can't read.
Every item that has stats under the description AKA Hourglass , AKA Roots , don't show stats on the character stat line but they calculate the stats as the fight starts , please read what the roots does so maybe in future you won't be confused , well i can't do nothing to you @lament iron

if for whatever ungodly reason you don't believe me simply swap his artifact to any other artifact and you will see for yourself

Dear Traveler, the Vortex Boss will target the hero with the most Max HP in the battle. And judging from your video recording, the shield provided by Felosia, we can know that your Dargo has the most Max HP, because of the artifact wearing. The reason why you can't see the stats before the battle is that some effects will be triggered after the battle starts(like some artifacts).
