#Suggestion: Make Runes for other stats like Skill haste and decouple them from elements.

Runes are a huge RNG-fest right now. Let's think of it this way:

Say you have 3 different rune stats available. Seems fine, right? That's a solid 33% chance of getting what you want.

Now, take those three stats and divide them into 6 different elements. That means each combination will be 6%ish chance. Much worse. Still seemingly fair.

Now roll each of those pieces for FOUR DIFFERENT SUBSTATS. This lowers the chance of something usable to below 1%, and the chance of a truly GOOD piece to almost nothing.

The current system is unsustainable, and in its current form, makes farming unnecessarily painful. We can't spend hundreds of hours chasing a perfect piece that will be wiped in a few months.

Now, several solutions could work to fix this:

-Decouple Elements from Runes. This removes a layer of RNG and makes the pieces function more like other gear pieces. This allows you to add things like attack speed or skill haste as main stats on runes for more customizable gameplay, without bloating the rune pool. This will also make future mythic runes feel far less daunting to farm.

-Allow us to target farm for a given element. Even if it's just 2-3x the chance, this would allow people missing a specific element to get some much needed resources. It's really not fair that you have to dump SO much stamina into getting usable runes when stamina needs to go toward goblin lair and domains, as well as gear. Even heavy spenders have these troubles!

-Allow us to choose the main stats and/or element when crafting. This is my least favorite solution, but is likely the easiest to justify. There's enough RNG with sub stats to keep people crafting for a while to chase that perfect piece.

Yeah i am all for more ways to interact with gear that goes away from standart gacha games and focus more on target farming/crafting like other seasonal games. Anything to make it better but would still have that chase factor

I agree that chasing for 4 substats shd be a thing...
I disagree where chasing element and main stat is a difficult thing
(Latest screwup for me is 2 ice out of 48 positive runes) will update later tonight if it gets worse

maybe just make all runes independent of element... like gear is. we reuse gear, why not be able to reuse the runes we get also? seems like a lame way to force stamina use grinding for runes. i know i prob burnt 1000 stam s2 on negative runes only for lothair trying to get more enlight... pretty ridiculous
