Any idea at all on possible dates for a patch for IOS?
I can't play it on any other device and it's a bit disheartening not being able to play at all. 😦

I had the same issue after I upgarded my iPhone to iOS 17.4.1.
I guess the issue is related to the in-game Resolution setting, which might be incompatible with the latest iOS or from certain iOS verion onwards.
As long as you set the Resolution to High, it will cause some glitches behind and result in the flashing light on screen.
My compromised solution for now is to avoid setting the Resolution to High.
Set it to either "Very High", "Medium", "Low" or even "Very low" will not cause the issue.
But I still urge the dev team to properly solve it by providing a comprehensive fix.

I have the issue even if I change the resolution, so I thought it was a problem with iPhone 12 specifically since many others have the same issue on iPhone 12

Oh, I see. Interestingly mine is iPhone 12 as well (not pro max though).
Looks like it still needs to have a proper solution from dev sooner or later.
I hope they could fix it faster than fixing Rook 😂😆

I dont have another device that can run DH... otherwise I would be playing on PC not phone
