My server isnt huge and doesnt have a ton of activity, and it is literally impossible for us to beat mek in the time required. We just barely hit 50% with only a few days left. Really makes it pointless to even try. Rankings exist, but it feels bad to work for a server wide event that is impossible because the expectation of the server is literally unreachable, and could have been predicted to be such within a couple of days.
#adjust the total HP of the end game boss based off server activity.

Its poor design to punsh an entire server for not reaching an impossible number when you cant change or pick your own servers. The ranked rewards arent nearly as good as the completion rewards. Not to mention it also just puts other servers behind on the next merge, if they merge with a server who managed to reach the arbitrary number.
Yep good suggestion, also on the other end of the spectrum, my server which is full finished very early, and now waiting for s3 to begin.
Should just be a fixed time, like for example 10 days and every day it lose 10% HP. This way neither very active servers are punished for finishing fast not inactive servers are unable to beat it
I think this makes the most sense. Predictable season schedule progression and unrelated to actual damage dealt a decay of boss til the end. My server is on last day and boss just got to 50%… that is pathetic, and we lose 75% and 100% rewards because of it.
