It doesn't matter for hard core players including me.But a lot of light users feel painful. Even if it is reset in the new season, only limited characters are used in the end.In addition, light users do not have time to re-develop.On the contrary, it only causes the gap to widen.I can understand if it is reset every season to make it easier for new players to enter.Shouldn't we eliminate the system in which new players always enter from season 1?

If players don't start at season1 they will lose alot of content and stuff that the rest of the players got to experience, the reset works its what makes this game so unique and fun is that it keep resetting us back to 1 with all our heroes and challenging ourselves again. As a free to play player i love seeing how i get better and faster each season and ive played since beta so ive experienced 3 seasons and i hope they never change it.
No one forces players to play further after reading reset rules and hearing that its seasonal, if you carry on past season1 then you know what you are in for and accept it .
This game isnt for everyone and i hope they never change the seasonal reset because i dont want it to be like raid and omni heroes.
On my server, I feel that many people are retiring because they can't beat people from β.It is difficult to increase the population by integrating old servers with each other.We have not been able to negate the advantage of the old with a season reset at all.I think we need to think of a mechanism that allows new people to smoothly increase the number of heroes and artifacts and catch up with old people.I'm not telling you to remove the reset, I'm telling you that's not enough.
Old people aren't put with new people, the beta players have their own server that is slowly intergrated with other servers. If the "new" players are struggling with the players on their servers then its against players that spend alot to beat everyone they can, if you are free to play then you never going to be able to be top ranking as there are "whales" and "Krakens" that spend enormous amounts of money to get all the heroes and artifacts and unfortunately thats got nothing to do with old and new players or with season, its got to do with spending on summons and packages.

Feel like op is bringing up a few points that is not what's mentioned in the description. The release of new heroes don't really have anything to do with server merging or reset because people in S1 do not have new heroes from S2. They only have access to it after they hit S2 in their own server.
Likewise server merging is between servers of same season
I can agree on releasing more heroes to support existing teams instead of introducing new elemental mechanics though. Rally for example still want lorentheel because the lower rarity enablers are just too inconsistent. If elemental mechanics are added every season it will get harder and harder to get the needed 'puzzle pieces' to get a team going due to gacha pool bloat.
