i don't know if that has been discussed, but i didn't found anything.
i don't pretend to say it works fine or not the way it is. just wanted to share my feelings about.
I play with a group of friends with different spending and time consuming priorities, but who like to rank as far as we can. We're 1 week to finish the season. To put us in context i'm top 5 as ftp, so, i'm not here to talk about how hard it`s to rank up, or the content itself. I want to ask "what the hell with the clepsidra and the game rithm". We may want different things about the game, but we agree the game being not daily punishing was great.
Then we join the last month. and pass from 1h minimum to 2-3 or more. And get worse with the final boss. U have 1 day to configure the teams and each run from 8 minuts. If you don't have the time that day, bad luck. And losing a day turns into an unreasonable rank fall from 20 to 50 or more if in last boss
So we went from a low daily time demanding and not hard loses if losing a day, to a 3 hours demanding for a whole month and demanding daily attendance or lose your rank progress
being clear, is not about be top 10 or 100. i never spect to be that high. Is the feeling of being constant the whole season to reach it and now 1-2 days may decide more than 2 months. The feeling that put effort for 3 months to reach the rankings, and now be punished 50 slots for lose a single day, or change from a weekly reward mode that gives you more daily playtime freedom to a high demanding daily time for a whole month
because of how frustrating this felt, some won't join the 2º season. They are not agree to farm another season and throw the ranking away because 1 day got sick, got extra work, have a birthday or whatever. Losing some spots is understandable, lose 50 has no sense. None of us like to play as casuals neither, so the choice is obvius.
i Don't have much place more to suggest, but i think in my arguments is easy to see the suggestions itself
