Gladros' ult applies a shield and debuff immunity to heroes BUT if a bigger shield exists on the heroes then Gladros will not apply the debuff immunity.

This is either a bug or bad game design.

It’s the behavior I would expect from the description of the ability, “any ally under this shield gains debuff immunity”. If a larger shield exists on the character already he will not apply his shield to that character, and similarly if another larger shield replaces Gladros’ shield then they (should) lose the debuff immunity (don’t have him to validate, but that’s what I would expect)

I'm aware of how it works. But if this is the intended result, that I'm sorry to say it's badly designed.

@smoky dune Dear traveler, thank you for taking the time to get in touch with us and for sharing your concerns.

Regarding Gladros' debuff immunity concern, we would like to let you know that shields can be divided into two types: hero skill shields and equipment skill shields. Shields of the same type cannot stack (if it's the same type of shield, the smaller shield will be replaced by the larger shield). Shields of different types can be stacked. if it is the same type shield as the Gladros' shield, it is normal.

It would be highly appreciated if your confirm with us weather the bigger shield is the hero skill shield or not.

Looking forward to your response!
Thank you for your time and understanding!
