#Change how Otherworld Exploration threshold works for buffs

Chaos shadows gives the most value from energies spent in this event
Season after season, more players are able to build 15 teams to maximize their rewards and Adventure Preparation/Elemental Domain will not be done and we wont be able to reach the threshold for the buff on End game boss.

Some ways to fix it :

  1. Once Chaos Shadows buff hits 100% -> The day after, no one can challenge chaos shadows boss and have to focus on adventure preparation/elemental domain to get extra points [Competitive way : people who can do 15 teams sooner will get more points for the global leaderboard / Downside : players will get less pure sandcore overall at the end of the season]
  2. Increase points gained from daily quest for adventure preparation/elemental domain to make the 1st run equivalent to 1 run in Chaos Shadows for 22m damage [Friendly way : there will be no interest to do more than 13 teams and everybody will help to progress for the global buff / Downside : 13 teams is more easy to get, competition will decrease between players but they still need to build their teams asap]

There always will be the 'worst' way to spend you OW stamina. S1 it was adventure preparation so everybody avoided it. S2 they boosted it so now on every server elemental domains have lowest score. And chaos shadows have to be more profitable considering amount of effort needed to build 22m teams.

I agree, that's why both solutions have an advantage if you do your teams early :
1st solution : build your 15 teams asap and get an advantage versus others people
2nd solution : only the first clean each day give you similar amount of points than a 22m team -- 13 teams is still some work but it is more friendly than 1st solution (as I said, 1st solution is the competitive way when the 2nd is the friendly way)

If s3 and above are similar than s1/s2, I think most servers wont be able to get the buff (because everybody will do 15 teams later or sooner) and I doubt he is killable without it

And like many others, I have 15 teams since day 1, it is fun to build those teams early on but after a week it start to look like a chore, that's why I think solution 1 would be a good way to fix it and keep the competition in the game

Or they could just make one single timer instead of all 3 separate.

That way the way people choose to use their 150 OW energy matters less than the fact that they're using it

I completely agree with this post.
Last season, I was annoyed of the people doing 15-teams and not "helping" to do the other tasks. This season I really see the reality of ranking properly and doing 15 teams. If I stop doing that and do less to "help" the server, my small contribution will also cause me to lose out on top 50, which I keep going from 66-47 or so within each day.

I think the simplest thing it to close chaos shadow bosses once a server hits 100% at the next reset period (so everything that full day still has fair chance to hit for points). But then it forces people to finish off the other milestones.

But I'd also be very happy if there were bigger bonuses for the dailies to encourage people to do the other thing instead so we don't ignore them. So solution #2 is solid.

There could also be a limit to how many chaos shadow fights we could do daily (not PER boss, as that's no fun) but a challenge counter - like max 10-13 challenges on that per day. We could still try to hit the max teams as fast as possible to compete, but we'd still have to go work on domains/adventure as well.

But there needs to be a way to make all of those things yeild a "max" reward so it's not ONE thing is the best answer for points/competition.

It a stupid set up, next season there will be more that can get 15 teams and so on.... The whole thing needs scrap and done again period. It not really hard to get 22mill. lets be real....

The whole otherworld system needs a rework. Adventuring prep and domains are basically just extra 'chores' they make us do for no reason. Also farming the same boss with the same team every day for 2 weeks is a chore that serves no purpose after the initial setting up the team.

It's obvious why they do it, because they have a lack of content in the game, but punishing players by making them do chores just makes us have less fun with the game and feel like our time is being disrespected.

Scrap the energy system, put in some side quests that reward you one time, make the elemental domains harder and you get reward for clearing them 1 time, and make chaos bosses 6 fights max and you get points based on your max damage instead of hitting 22m, because with full alliance buffs 22m is insignificant, you can get that with a good tank + healer + 1 dps champ if you have reasonable gear.

Also could consider making OW like arena where all champs are leveled to 100 and there is a bonus challenge every day pertaining to domains or chaos bosses, such as "Hit x damage using all rare champions on any boss" or "clear x domain with only fire champs, or no legendary champs"... anything to make it interesting and engaging to log in every day and get to build a new team or try out something new.

Not too sure about system rework based on max damage... This is very reliant on what Lego heroes pull you have. This will make it similar to temporal vortex. Once you have the right set of heroes your rank will be fix.

Currently in s1 1day away from resurgent dragon, I just barely made 10x22m teams today. With current otherworld system, over the 2 weeks, I have jumped from rank 30+ to 19. I had to explore a lot of usage of rare/epic heroes. I like that strategy of using rare/epic can help rank better.

With your suggestion of getting points from max damage, you basically get 6x best DPS team and you are stuck with your rank

Bonus challenge sounds interesting but need proper planning on how to reward

I do agree that it's a chore but I do want some strategy involved (esp when using rares/epics) in determining season ranking

I agree it just feels like work not fun, really only reason I don't have all 15 times is because of my real job, I do not time to put into getting a couple more teams up... Also I have ran out of healers, never pull any lego healers or garius the only epic I do not have.
