Zhorak Bug, Passive not granted to Allies

I'm not so sure about this, but Zhorak's ultimate skill is to grant the ability of his passive to his allies, one of his passive abilities is to gain back an icecrystal upon using a skill that consumes it.

After a bit of testing and playing around, I've seen that it doesn't really work. Please check if this is the intended behavior.

It does work for Zhorak himself, it is specifically bugged for any heroes he gives his passive to through his ultimate.

This is incorrect as that is his generic passive ability to gain Ice Crystals when allies consume it, however, going by the ultimate skill - it mentions "All Iceblast allies gain the effect of Zhorak's Passive Skill for 15.0s" - the allies should inherit the ability of Zhorak to fire icicles and regenerate ice crystals upon usage

I also tested this and im 100% certain something is off.

While Zharoks ultimate is running. You have all Ice Blast members with his passive. This means on every allys ice crystal use there is a 50% chance they get a ice crystal.

This is NOT the case. After several runs on the Test dummy i can clearly tell that Zharok gets alot of crystals back, but the others do not benefit the same way while his ult is active.

About 13 seconds into the video Zhorak casts his ultimate skill giving his passive skill to generate ice crystals to Belldelle which would last for 15 seconds, at about 20 seconds Zhorak gains 3 ice crystals and at about 22 seconds Zhorak uses his battleskill to consume 3 of his ice crystals, however, you can see that Belldelle does not gain any Ice Crystal as an effect of inheriting Zhoraks passive ability, she does nothing

Throughout the video, whenever you see Zhorak using his ult and then consuming his Ice Crystal within the 15 second period, you don't see Belldelle obtaining anything through use of Zhoraks passive

It's harder to test battle skills but the nature of them being automatic so hear me out as well , not only Zhoraks allies not gain extra ice crystal generations but the damage part from his passive doesn't seem to work properly and i ran this multiple times.

Screenshots explained.

1. Zhoraks Ultimate is active which provides 40 % Damage up which seems to be working fine but the part where allies gain zhoraks passive is not working. Gerthins total damage dealt in this screenshot is 113779
2. Gerth deals double swing with her passive 14852x2 = total damage without any extra damage from Zhoraks passive from both characters.
3. Calculation of total DMG from 2nd picture 143483 minus the total she had before the battleskill took effect 113779 which is 29704.
4. double swing calculation from her battleskill total damage 14852x2=29704

Conclusion:
There is no added extra damage from Gerthin OR Zhorak, altho his passive should fire extra damage. Even tho this is a screenshot i ran this for multiple times for 10 minutes total and there was no extra damage happening besides auto attacking.

P.S.
I know it must be annoying that "Bug report" section is filled with insane amount of false claims and bad reports but i don't see how this is working as intended ^^

It does not. The chance shown on the video is 0%, while it is stated on the skill that it is 35% (or 50% with the level upgrade).
This does not function for any allies that gain this passive through Zhorak's ultimate skill.
The damage part also does not function properly.

Hello Lydia. Yes there is a 50% Chance to obtain a ice crystal upon allys ice crystal use. This is not the case after several Testing. Better Testing is done with 3 ice crystal users. I will send in a video later

And to everyone else Here, please test this with 3 ice crystal users which is mostly the usecase. Zharok also doesnt spam battleskill as he is using all at once.

The entire fight Bleddyn doesnt get ice crystals from the obtained Zharok passive.

Normale he should have a 50% Chance to obtain one, on every ice crystal use of zharok or Beldelle.

This goes for everyone. Since all have zharok passive while his ult is on.

If you watch Zharok on this clip he regularly obtains ice crystals after one of his allys uses one. While Bleddyn gets 0.

This clip easyly tells that something is off.

You can track the heros one by one. Zharok always gets the 'Ice Crystal' text as he regularly obtains one.
This doesnt happen to Bleddyn and Beldelle also doesnt seem to get them as regular.

Like the boys said they are not gaining crystals at all and the damage part from his passive is also confusing or not working if the allies are gaining his passive.

We would like the team to look into this , this really seems not to be working as intended.

So that's another Rose situation lol. It is actually what I always thought it was anyway, before people started discussing it. I would take a look at whether it might be worth it to change the skill to match the description, instead of the other way around.
Still, the damage part also seems bugged, maybe a visual is missing there?

It is quite unacceptable to advertise wrongly, poor translation leading to investment in the hero should be compensated for. Also, this means that Zhorak is significantly weaker than Shinnah which means we need balancing too. Iceblast is heavily reliant on Shinnah for damage.

I got Zhorak and Beldelle and guess what they totaly underperform.

It's a good solution. In fact, I think that given the circumstances in which errors with the descriptions and/or functioning of the characters are common, they should send a scroll of those to all those who have the affected characters improved in some way, either with books or inspirations.

I consider that it would be the fairest thing for those persons who have improved a character that does not work as it should, either due to a development error or a failure in the description of the character' skills.

I think that a temporary free skill reset on Zhorak only should just be implemented; the same could've been the solution for Rose. Anyone that wants to do it, is free to do so by default.

Well this explains why Zhorak is underperforming so much when compared to almost anything else. I think you devs should just take the L and change Zhorak so that his entire passive applies to his allies. Currently Zhorak is just a poormans Shinnah or even Bleddyn. Overall, that hero is quite weak and not a good enabler

I just did some testing replacing Zhorak with Gerthin in my vortex team ( the other 2 are Shinnah and Beldelle) and I got the same results or marginally better with Gerthin. That shows the value as a legendary that Zhorak has

And it doesn't matter if you build Zhorak with ENL or pure DPS, results are close enough to consider them negligible

And to claim in the email that is a gift is a massive insult, if the champion has failed to meet the expectations then they need to offer up more than a reset scroll, we should not have to test a champion in a productive server to ensure it works as indicated

Fix the issue with the LEGENDARY champion, wtf garbage is an oblivion scroll if the hero that was summoned is sub standard. It is just a ridiculous outcome, if the champion is not viable give us a choice of champion to replace it with or FIX him!

I kind of agree with this. If the champion is clearly not performing well, oblivion scroll is not a sufficient bandaid fix. You need to start actively look into bringing clearly underpowered or not performing heroes to a satisfactory level and you should be fast about it - or we will be scared to pull gold dice because the legendary champ pool will be so diluted with crap champs that don't really have a spot in any reasonable comp

As someone who kept pulling until I got Zhorak this whole escapade leaves me with a very bad feeling. I wanted to build an ice blast team for S2,so I kept pulling until I got Zhorak (I already got Shinah, ice blast epics and rares before). If I knew he was bugged I wouldn't have spent all the helio dice. I would have opened them in another banner. This way I am stuck with a falsely advertised bad legendary and with no helio dice.

To make things worse, it's impossible to prove any of this. I guess you could check the logs of my pulls,but not sure if this means anything. And even if it could be proven, what then?

Does the development team understand that half baked solutions like this are basically discouraging people from actually buying helio dice and spending money on your game?

EDIT: After my complaint I was contacted by @still drum who looked into the issue, and rightfully pointed out that Zhorak skill description was updated on the day before I obtained him. Therefore, its was my fault not checking the patch notes. So, even though the issue was not resolved in my favor, I have to say I am very pleased that SG team are taking time to listen and act upon the complaints. This personal approach doesn't exist in all games, but its very important for us players to feel we are being heard. So big props to @still drum and her team!
