Since it seems like the DnD collab events happen at the same time for everyone regardless of where you are at in a season it seems important to make sure everyone is on an even playing field when it comes to the psychicore since people who just started a new season won't have as much time to improve theirs. The first collab event did a good job of making sure gear and character level didn't have an impact but it failed to do so for the psychicore. So I hope future collab events correct this mistake by either giving everyone access to the full psychicore bonus while facing the event boss or removing all psychicore bonuses while facing the boss but making sure to balance to boss accordingly so that reaching the top rewards is still attainable without the bonuses.

personally, i used frurbath, garius, ergander, acilia and drizzt. 0 affinity bonuses, and i got the max score daily (just 4 tanks and drizzt); but point is 4 units that offered control, healing, debuff removal/immunity and only 1 dps. 0 affinity bonuses though; so it is doable. i think the event is designed to take away variables like gear most of all; affinity doesnt give you THAT much compared to what scrolled units with a well thought out skill synergy team achieves. per picture: halfway through season all 3 hero affinities are easily obtained for all elements; then you can choose one path to 5-hero, which yes does give you decent bonuses in 25% damage and then damage resistance, but if i threw a group of random trash within a 5 hero affinity, i'm still going to score poorly compared to a nonaffinity team with smart skill distribution

It's never Balanced for Our Server in regards to RELEASE. It's ALWAYS during Seasonal Hero Event. Last Season, Utior, and now this Season's Ardreth. I think the timing is different per Server.
Personally, I wish it were at the End of the Season for every Server... that way people can have a high Chance of Full Affinity.
