I think every season the Traveler should get upgrades to his kit which are unlocked throughout the story exploration, especially in a season where 3 new mechanics are introduced. It feels a bit strange that our main character mostly outlives his usefulness as a unit fairly quickly on most accounts, and I'd love to see them evolve in each season to keep them as a versatile and useful champion to fill in gaps for specific team comps.

This season could have evolved the character to have a diamond-shaped target for their ultimate and apply burn or thunderbolt on their bskill / ultimate. For frost it could have an added effect that gives ice crystals to allies in the shield or reduces the amount of ice crystals used or adds an atk up buff or any number of other interesting ideas. The battleskill could have been changed to deal additional damage with ice crystals and/or proc twice when under ice crystals, making him a strong choice for ice team support.

Ye agree something needs to be added or modified and I like your suggestions. I've hardly used the traveller this season and also feel like the elemental powers should be upgradable or have a skill tree or something.

Pretty straight forward proposition. I like the idea, but if I had to decide between this feature and the creation of new content, I would prefer them to prioritize future seasons contents.

Haven’t used the traveller at all, he’s still at lvl1. Despite that I’d like to have some customization from challenge completions etc.

Giving him new kits would be nice though he’s become useless after a single season as other rare/ epic easily outshine him/ her.

With the limited amount of resources it is totally wasteful to level the Traveler. Ye he is versatile but quickly gets outshined by any epic, legendary or in some cases even rare hero. Having him grow with the account in some way is a very fresh and cool idea which i fully support.

maybe make them customizable to the new mechanics like give him the option when you change him to fire to be able to burn or use wild, if you switch him to ice have a frost or iceblast kit, lightning can have thunderbolt or dauntless options then we might actually use them again, mine is on the bench season 2 and will never be played again as he is.

I'd like to see the 3 kits change each season, maybe even elements too but it's probably just a case of here's a good hero to get you going to start S1 with, from S2 onwards you should have enough hero's to crack on without needing your MC.

yeah but feels anti-thematic and like a waste. We have this base for such a cool designed champ that can fit in with so many teams and new season mechanics, but not be op in any, just a solid filler unit that can see play for players who don't spend a lot and have lots of gaps in rosters. Feels like a waste to use that design space for a month in s1 and then neglect it completely afterwards.

Traveler's the same thing as the uber rare/epic you get in most games that falls off by late game. Doesn't really need changes imo.

If you make them strong enough to be usable every season, they become mandatory, which feels bad if you level them before legendaries you spent a LOT more time to get. If you don't, they fall off, like they did in season 2.

They still function as an avatar, which is all they need to be. Otherwise they can just sit at level 1 with the commons and some trash tier rares.

Could maybe implement a system where each season a lego dupe can inspire MC so they're relevant but at a cost
