I thought it was a good idea at first but you guys added only a small new area…Couldn’t you make that area only with high level fights and just let us keep the heroes levels and equipment? This would force new players to play the original world first before getting to the new area. Plus the new a equipments could have been added to the new area too in addition to the ones we already had in S1, so that experience players could have worked on some new builds and tactics. We would still need to grind to level up and equip the new seasonal units! This thing is going to get boring in the long run…for me it already is
#Get rid of the season reset…

I agree with this, I’m at a point where I need to constantly grind to advance in Fey, Trials, and story. There are a few heroes who I know I can invest in, but it’s really discouraging knowing that all the work I’m going to do is going to be reset in a month or lost completely. Going through with these changes suggested above, as well as adding events or challenges that encourage using more variations in heroes would keep players continuing to advance and level up as many heroes as possible instead of just grinding the same teams repeatedly.
Yes unfortunately this season reset will get old very soon and they will loose a lot of players because of it…they do not give enough of a new gameplay to have a full character reset! Sadly my whole old alliance just quit playing because of the dumb grind of low tier dungeons at the beginning of the season 😔
im to thinking quiting this Shit!!!! resets are not bad,...its just we dont have resources to relvl our old heroes its just same grind over and over...i want to lvl up my whole Roster not just 5 of dose same dudes again and again and again and again ...you see the point in this again and again and again !!! ffs devs
The simple solution here seems to be: add xp to at least the partially reserved list. That way you can have a big leg up on it for the next season and don't have to invest 100% in building the same units over, you can instead have some excess xp to feed to other units and afford to experiment some more
New season needs to have longer story/ bigger areas etc. additional challenges/ different bosses to keep it interesting.
Allow players to level all heroes within a season to play around.
With that in place, regrinding gear etc is the same as grinding for newer gear/ higher levels as it’s in all other similar games. The grind remains/ gets longer for smaller boni.
I too was all for the reset and still think it can be done well but differently. I want to keep playing but there is literally nothing to do, i am ready to progress but i have to wait for everything, Trials, Faye Meander, all the areas and higher lvls of boss stages. It makes me wanna make a new account and have fun replaying as F2P rather than stay in a dead season 2. Still i'm not gonna quit the game but hot damn, i am very disapointed. Did the devs think that 1 day campaign would stick? Speechless...
I agree with all…the season reset still can work but they have to provide us with waaaay more new content that 5 islands and a stupid underwater spit of land…if they cannot provide more new content then I think they should give us back 50-70% of the upgrade materials like they did with the essence of creation from the previous season…this will make it worth for returning players to keep playing! But farming low tier dungeons every beginning of season is freaking torture!
Agreed. I was expecting a lot more from season 2. I wasn't sure how they would pull off seasons with only 3 months of dev time, but apparently the answer was ~ by adding barely any new content.
If you're doing seasonal resets, there needs to be a new feel to each season, otherwise you are resetting us for no reason, because we end up grinding the same dungeons, leveling the same characters, fighting the same bosses (or very similar bosses), so why would I want to go through the grind all again?
If your team isn't able to fill out a new season with enough content to make it interesting and fresh, then I don't see how making us do all the chores again and again is supposed to keep us interested when all our gear disappears and we can't even complete a full build on any of our teams.
I support this game because the devs seem to take public criticism to heart and have shown they are willing to walk back poorly implemented changes in the past, but if season 3 is just a reskin of season 1 + 2 with a few extra steps, I'm not interested in continuing to play.
Either scrap seasonal reset and turn the game into a longer-term account building game where you add content expansions every couple of months, or actually make a new season new and exciting, not just a few days and a small new map.
Also, in subsequent seasons, DON'T TIME GATE ME. I get it for season 1 when we were all starting out and didn't know what we were doing, but in season 2 I just want to push things as far as I can asap, race others to clear content, and enjoy what little content there is, not being forced to drip-feed 1 new stage of pillar and 3 fae per day just to keep me around. I would respect it more if you let us finish content at our own pace and then we can not log in for a month (or only log in to do the things we want to do) until the next season starts and we're not missing anything.
Exacly, being time gated feels horrible. I feel like i'm breathing through a straw while playing season 2. What is the purpose of that? I believe devs know there's very little content around, and they fear that ppl will forget the game if they can just rush through it. But 1 stage of trials per day is just silly...
If i compare Dragonheir to Raid, i still prefer less quality content over being flooded with things to do and a neverending grind for very little reward, but we not only have very little in terms of stamina but also not very much to spend that stamina on, other than Goblin at this point, which takes waaaaaay too long to lvl 1 character. I can't imagine how long it takes to make 3 working teams as a total F2p player.
I wish the same as well…unfortunately they think mostly about the hardcore players that enjoy this endless and pointless grinding rather than the casual players…I think this will lead the game to a huge fail by season 3
This time gated season reset is nonsense, I’m surprised this made it to release ? Make more content to keep people playing stop playing the start all over again card, more instead of a billion more legendaries - we are not stupid, stop treating us like we are.
Except a lot of the 'hardcore players' don't enjoy it either and many are quitting. I've been an alliance leader since s1 and have seen many whales disappear in late s1 and the transition to s2. Many more are tolerating it for now but won't last another season I think.
