The fundamental problems with the game:

The major design problems are:

  • Incomplete rosters of heroes, like you also mentioned.

  • The game is too gated, there is nothing to do the first month of the game and inbetween the big seasonal events like otherworld and the Ardreth one.
    And this is because legendary gear is costly in terms of stamina AND the double lego gear only appears one month into the game.
    You literally wait one entire month to be able to actually farm gear, this is unheard of. Especially since its a SEASONAL game, each season you should feel more powerful and more free in the amount of rosters you build, scrolls, resources in general should be highly increased.
    Farming dungeons is just what i call "maintenance", its the period of time where you just prepare to use all that to put it into actual action but the events are so spread out there are weeks of dead content. The seasonal idea is great, but its nothing like POE, its a completely twisted version design wise that isn't compatible with the seasonal genre.
    There are tons of banners each week that are basically useless even for people like me who spend actively to support the game.
    Heliolite are too expensive, and you always have to choose those vs legendary scrolls for that month, which leaves you with very little resources to either pull or make your legos useful because of scrolls.
    Pulling a lego isn't even satisfying anymore, uncrolled most of them are really lackluster.

  • The fact that not every server goes hand in hand into a new season is mind boggling i've never seen anything like this, it's just nonsensical.

  • Guild activities are extremely boring and only start two weeks in into a new season, where you need to grind again levels upon levels to see a sliver of "decent" rewards towards the end of the season.

  • Arena can be fun, but the gearing is difficult to manage and ofc its extremely p2w, and i don't mean in the hundreds but in the thousands.

  • There is just a need of more content, more events, weekly events, new actually valuable packs to buy, some QoL, guaranteed banner legendaries, huge increase in resources like dice, lego scrolls, wymarrow. The game should feel tighter, where you always have something to do each week, but the only thing we get is boring "farm this dungeon 20 times and get a sliver of resources".

This game is insanely good and stunningly beautiful, but i think its extreme potential is really really lost on the devs.
