Everyone is furious about this grinding... And auto-farm is useless. We spend a lot of time to get to the point where we can ignore this useless things. And here we go again... It's ok to start anew again but it's impossible to ignore that your staff are deleted... You can lock it till the time you get your character journey lvl to 40 or 30.. but deleting all of you efforts was really unpleasant... It was like this at the start of 2 season and now when already at this point it hurts even more..
Hope you want delete everything again at the next season.
#it hurts!

Grind is a part of most multiplayer games. Whether you grind from 1-60 over and over or 60-70, 70-80 etc. Same applies to gear/ artifacts.
@waxen sierra are you stating that its normal to grind every 3 month at your account??? I mean not even several accounts, but the only one with endless grind? NOT even for improvement but for necessity.....
you never played a seasonal game before
@pseudo furnace yap... But is my suggestion to lock your items is wrong one???
you can suggest what you want but i want a full seasonal gaming experience which means full gear wipe and resource reset.
I’m saying Raid and other games are continuous grind. Leveling heroes, higher ratings, new gear sets etc etc. grinding is part of these games. I don’t mind grinding the same or new gear over and over. It’s one and the same. It’s better than more and more power-creep.
The main problem with resetting heros' levels back to lvl 1 is that only CC will be able to test all heroes in the roster at lvl 100 in the Test servers. For normal players like us, we will have at most like 40-50 heroes get to be lvl 100, but we will never be able to have say 200 of my heroes to be lvl 100 in the season. To me that is unsatisfying
And that’s only on the test server. Other games allowed to have all your heroes on the same level once you leveled a certain amount to max.
Yet somehow when I proposed to change goblin to gold farming dungeon and match level of all heroes to your highest hero, people complained that this will reduce the grind somehow.
Wjat Drak was trying to say is, the grind is what makes players log in and have something to do.
There are 2 basic ways of doing this:
1 - Full reset and we ALL start from 0
2 - Every season or certain ammount of time, or chapter, they bosses get harder and your heros can grow bigger. Example- you lvl all heroes to 100, then next season lvl cap goes to 200, and new bosses are stronger and so will your heroes need to be stronger.
In the end its the same really. The fact you think your heroes is already 100, is the same, cuz now you need to level them to 200... so the same grind. Or else you lose the challenge..
Where I do agree is that Goblins III is not enough... maybe we need a goblins IV, or more potions on Goblins 3. Because the grind to make several teams does become dull and a chore at some point, where the real fun is to setup teams and work on gear. So speeding up the farming of XP by the end of the Game, maybe last month for example would be likely a good thing. And that could be done with a Goblins IV dungeon.
I’d only add that there are games that don’t require you to level all heroes at the benefit of giving players more time to try and test different teams.
Goblin could be a gold farming dungeon and your heroes are same level as the highest hero. That’s give you much more to play with for P2P and F2P.
Could be, but my feeling as I play through S1 is that, the goals suddenly grow too much for me to keep up with. Shadow Contest is already being hard to put 4 teams together, let alone for the last stages with 10 or more teams... leveling all heroes to 100 seems insane from this stand point.
