#Visible pity counter for banners

Honestly I think it's so there's always a case of "almost there" but never too sure unless you keep track yourself.
It's a good way from a business perspective to entice player's to spend a little to hit that next lego.
That's my assumption anyway, afaik no gacha has an in game mercy/pity tracker so I'm sure there's a reason behind it.
I'm talking from a consumer point of view
because it doesn't fit their business view.
I'm saying, it's probably been debated and as a whole they've decided the game will be more profitable if you can't see your personal mercy
While it's possible that this topic has been discussed, I'm free, as a consumer, to make that suggestion. According to me, that suggestion would improve the consumer experience.
I'm not saying you're not entitled to suggesting it, I'm just stating why it's unlikely they'll ever add it.
It's not me saying, delete this, terrible idea.
What I mean is that you could be making a point for the business (which is not proven), but my suggestion concerns the customers and improving the customer experience.
I'm just a Discord "coach", but a player no different to yourself, a lot of people like the mystery of not knowing so the Yolo effect feels more exciting, if that's the reason then I guess they could make it a toggle tracker. But I honestly think the reason they don't do it is as I said earlier, when you think you "must be close" you're more likely to spend a little to hit that next legendary pull.
Which is why we just say save you dice until you have 35 to pull in a row or just yolo on a standard banner as the pity carries into the next standard.
I mean the excitement is a new argument. Prior to that you were speaking strictly from a business point of view, which I don't understand coming from a consumer.
To me it's had the opposite effect because I can't get excited if I don't know there is a legendary soon 😅
Rates are low like any gacha game so getting a legendary without pity is not a fair expectation, just a nice thing to happen
Because when a customer requests something the developers will answer it from a business perspective.
I don't make requests that I'm pretty sure would get shot down as it doesn't make sense to the business.
You also say that improving the customer experience that way has no viability business wise, which I completely disagree with
But that's your opinion which I'm not saying is wrong, many players who yolo would not be happy with a visible tracker, they could just as easily lose them.
Every gacha game I know shows the pity, which leads me to believe it's actually the opposite
Maybe then you could agree that it would be nice to have the option to see the pity timer inside the customer service page
Yes, I can agree, I never disagreed. My original comment was essentially stating there's probably a business model that suggest not knowing your mercy, generally speaking will entice a player to spend a little extra.
I'm glad we've come to the same conclusion that it would be nice to have an access to the pity timer for the customers who want to see that information
I still hold the opinion that it won't happen for whatever business reason they have for it though 😅
It's up to them to come up with a reason to not listen to their customers. Hopefully a good reason.
