#No more damage mechanics S3

obviously the non whale part doesn't appeal to them as that's not where money comes from, but I do agree we need a season off from new damage types with gaps filled in, fire need an epic healer etc
They don't even need to stop sending new mechanics each season for the whales if they put along heroes to complement existing mechanics as well. Since the pool is gonna increase anyways, at least maintaining loosely the % to get a new hero for a mechanic i already have would be greate!
There are enough existing heroes to satisfy the needs of all existing mechanics (except for Thunderbolt, of course). You just need to remember that there are not only legendary heroes (of which you most likely have few), but also epic and rare ones. oh god, the rare heroes are so strong in this game. think about it.
On the other hand, having a new dmg Necro mechanic could sort of be a workaround for summoners...
Maybe add one new dmg mechanic in s3 for radiant/Necro/poison so that each affinity has 2 DPS mechanic. Then in s4, have a break in new mechanic?
That would be good. Pairing all affinity mechanics and take the s4 to rebalance some units that are not so good.
But we all know that's not going to happen.
I mean in S4, rebalance is one option, another option is to add alternative DPS heroes to existing mechanics so there is more variety
I am thinking that new heroes to collect will be what they need to get their money
The best way to get money is by introducing new mechanics that surpass the previous ones. That leads people to spend if they want to compete for ranking.
Putting in new DPS for existing mechanics would only be beneficial if those new heroes surpassed the previous ones, and it wouldn't really be fair especially to those who have invested in exclusive heroes
I saw a few leaks that show additional damage types, and I am ok with it. But I really do hope the expand the support units for some of the elements. Ice, Fire and Lightning struggle with healers. Before Elminster it was hard to find an Attack Down II champ in Fire.
Overall, I would like each element to be able to stand on their own, and not NEED support heroes from other elements to make well rounded teams.
There will be new damage types for Poison, Radiance and Necro
100%
and support times for Ice, Fire, Lighting
If they make each element have all the tools, rotating affinities would be of no use, since everyone would always use the same teams with a single affinity.
