#I suggest immediate rewards for already completed dungeons (farming)

Since they reset all the progression, they could make the repetition of the farming content more comfortable. A simple improvement in quality of life that everyone would appreciate.

Repeating goblins or any dungeon, over and over again is the worst. I understand the challenge of beating the stage for the first time, but I don't know why they don't allow you to simply spend stamina and get the rewards directly once you have completed the stage. It is extremely boring, repetitive and a waste of hours throughout the season.

What else will you do with your time then? Stare at arena refresh? Smash your head against fey and pillars for even more hours?

@blissful gazelle Yeah Fey Meander and Pillars could be an example, optimizing your damage for Vortex... there are plenty of things to spend your time on instead of repetitive farming. I don't understand your comment since this is an improvement in quality of life. If they applied this change you would not be obliged to do it, you could do it as before if you want and you do not appreciate your time.

i dont really buy the time sink per day when at most you are burning 300 stam a day if you buy all the packs and daily wyrmarrow from shop, but ok.

#

10-15 stam and 1-3 min per run... that's what 60-90 min a day total? unless you playing on a phone in the bathroom at work i dont see how it saves you much.

Why spend 60-90 minutes when you could spend 1 or 2? If you like repetitive farming, I respect that and if you want you can do it as always. But adding an option for those who don't like it is bad? Today, for example, I spent 600 energy, since before I had not been able to due to work reasons and I spent 2 hours farming, I had to do it semi-manually because otherwise I would not get the best reward from the goblins, for example. For me it is a complete waste of time and I'm sure you understand it even if you don't think the same.

I 100% agree with this QOL change. This should actually apply in all content. We should be able to repeat an already reached score with a click of a button - for dungeons, for vortex, for bosses - unless conditions change for vortex and you would like to attempt to beat your high score.
There is literally no value in having grind for the sake of grind. I played this game from Season 0 and I dread vortex every day because of the poor design choice to make it a 15 minute waste of my time each day every day even if I did not swap anything in the team doing the vortex.
Same for the dungeons really. Heck- just do it and lock it behind the auto-battle tickets - just make the auto battles automatically resolve

#

But I reallllyyy dislike how this game really want me to spend at least an hour a day doing the exact same repetitive CHORE with little to no engagement

#

I once quit because I felt like this game is not respecting my time, and tbh each day I'm getting more worn and more worn out just because I'm expected to babysit the game just to get the scores and rewards I already proven I am able to achieve

see maybe that is the point though? the people who can push and do that grind and repetitive crap are the ones that maintain those ranks/scores? if it is easy, make it hard in another way = demand consistency. i dont hate on the idea of turning auto tickets into skip tickets 1 for 1 and just keep that mechanic. it would be fine, especially with goblins where i might get 2 stars randomly instead of 3; just let me skip and get 3 stars x30 or something. it would be nice. and vortex is painful as a daily 5-10 minute slog of rng to determine if i score as high as i did the day before... but what is left to the actual game if we remove these grind elements? story that is completed by midseason, MORE repetitive boss challenges like the chiefs and copper dragon, weekly bosses.... and then just fey, pillar and arena. you can sit and refresh arena all day every 10 min like i'm doing now that i'm 1 day until s2 and there is nothign else to do... but isnt that the same waste of time you'd spend on autoing for an hour or two? and if you are done pillars and cant progress in fey after spending 1-2 hours on it in a day, are you really going to go back to it the NEXT day and spend 1-2 hours on fey?

idk i feel like taking away the time is minimizing the game to something you do for 20 min a day... the grind is part of the game

Thanks @boreal scaffold That is precisely why I made this comment. I can relate to everything you've said. I wouldn't have wasted my time doing it if i didn't like the game and wanted it to improve it.

#

@blissful gazelle The proposal would not change anything for you, in fact it exists in many games of this style. It is a QoL that satisfies a part of the players. Don't forget that the real objective of the game is the Fey Meander, Pillars, Vortex, event bosses, etc. throughout the season. The objective is not whoever wastes the most hours on farming and repetitive content.

I strongly disagree. There is literally zero intrinsic value from having to sit and watch your 5 heroes repeatedly run Goblin Lair for a hour, or going through their spell cycles in vortex. Grind should be optional if you want to better your scores/timings. If I have extra time to spare and I would like to try and improve my MAX score on Vortex and I feel like it can - then I will, but having to do vortex and sit there like an idiot each day for 3 months is just a straight road to a burnout. I repeat - there is not engagement, no excitement and no value in such "grind".
If devs want more "screen time", make daily randomized challenges that we can tackle for rewards? Just not this - not what we have now

#

also leaderboards for each affinity / comp where people could try and beat their score in dungeons for example for some small rewards tallied each week

blissful gazelle
#

yeah that's fair, it makes the case that if you drill down the game to its basic elements what game is there besides the few challenging aspects besides the grind. maybe they should add more

Idiotic vortex could repeat score when there is changing factors if not want stay top take any score want and auto rewards makes everything even more boring, old games you farmed hours same spot just get one right item drop.People have no patience anymore just like gym repeat is way to victory

old design =/= good design. Designing a game grindy for the sake of being grindy and not fun is not good design. Even worse if it's designed grindy to sell you auto battle tickets or even skip battle tickets, but I'd take having skip battle tickets for content I completed over what we have here now.

#

maybe you like to watch the same boring vortex fight where you LITERALLY WATCH, as there's no input necessary, for 15-20 minutes each day every day, every season. But imagine how many hours could be "saved" and for example used to try out different comps, play arena, drilling grounds, etc.
