far too much spam nonsense happening since s2 went live... people showing up new, posting a "hello" or random emoji, nonsense word or string of characters that mean nothing and then never talking again. not sure what that is about other than possible bots or something but it is obnoxious and distracting. and it is in a lot of channels, not just main chat channel. this is how i gate people in my other discord i mod in, force them to have a tag in order to chat; in this case, use the verified tag for that.
