Rankings are done on a per server basis. As such, I should not be having to fight people that are journey rank 50 when I am journey rank 41 and am max level you can be at for my server. It is a huge disadvantage because they have been able to farm legendary gear for 2 weeks longer than my server has been able to which is significant since gear gets reset each season. It is effectively punishing the players that put in the effort to gatekeep Gold Griffon Champion Ranking. I am low spender where I have only bought the walker trail pass twice and the epic chest and am far ahead of many whales in arena.
