#Please start the Season 2 on all servers at the same time

If a new season starts on each server at a different time, with differences being in weeks, the servers with the old season running will feel like they are left behind, not having access to new content, heroes, improvements introduced in the new season etc. Moreover, content produced by content creators will not be relatable.

The worst part that would happen is for new players, which will have their season cut short. Being such a player (I only play for about 10 days), I don't see this as a downside, since with season reset all my heroes will be reset to lvl 1 anyway. I would feel much worse being stuck playing Season 1 for 6 more weeks after the other servers have already started Season 2.

They… cant. How do you propose they do that, make old servers wait for a month or two for the younger ones to catch up? People totally wont stop playing out of boredom and lack of new content… not to mention the ability for older servers to hoard wyrmarrow from dailies and to scroll more heroes from weekly rewards… i dont think you thought this through.

What does it matter if we are on different seasons?
We are on completely different servers. Why do you care for example what my server is doing? 😄
Also, if I just started the game right now, everyone on my server would be doing the same. Why would we skip a season and miss all that content?
I still don't understand, how does it influence you what people are doing on other servers? You cannot see them, chat with them, see what content they are doing anyway...
Also, it makes no sense what you are saying, because you wouldn't have time to earn chaos of clepsydra which really happens in the last month of the season, and you wouldn't have enough currency to buy anything in the end of the season shop. You will miss the biggest rewards and start season 2 with almost nothing. This way I can get 10 dice from rewards, buy 15 heliolite dice from the shop, get 20 summoning tickets and guarantee myself 2 legendary heroes at the beginning of the new season.

Imagine S2 includes game optimization, QoL changes,better drop chances, or anything similar. So you wouldn't get any of those if you are still on s1.

And, you were asking which game does it like that - I haven't seen a game that does it like Dragonheir. For example WoW, Diablo, etc. there is always only one season active across all realms. Games have catch-up mechanisms that will help new players, if they haven't played the previous seasons,getting them to the point where they can participate in the current season with no problems.

Maybe in the world of gacha games, what you saying is standard, but for me, coming from the mmo games, this sounds crazy.

For example, Dragonheir could make it easier to obtain season 1 heroes once season 2 starts. For veteran players, this will make no difference. But for newcomers it would help them to play in whichever season would be currently ongoing. This is exactly how WoW does it, and regardless when you start playing, you could always play, without having to go through the previous seasons.

Do you really expect that people who join in later seasons would first need to go through all previous seasons?

  3. Coming from an mmo you say? I payed GW2 for 10 years. If I grinded my legendary gear for years, why should you catch up easily? If you sart any mmo you start you character from level one. I don't know why you even memtioned mmos! It just proves my point 😂

  1. And you would participate in your season just fine, because all of the players on your server would be doing the same things. You wouldn't be behind. All the players would start from the same point. Once again, what we do on other servers had nothing to do with you, you are not on those servers!

This "why would you have X when I didn't have it" rethoric doesn't work because no new player would join the game if they had to grind through all outdated content just to be allowed to play the current content.

How does it work if you want to play WoW today? You don't have to play vanilla, and all 25 expansions. You just buy the latest expansion, and level your char to max level. From there on, you have access to all the content as all other players regardless of when they started playing. Gear is rotated out every season, so what you gathered in previous seasons doesn't really matter, you are not going to use it in the current season anyway. And this system works, for old and new players.

I'm not asking to get legendary gear (or cool looking albeit outdated champions in case of Dragonheir). I just want to play the same current content, with all shiny updates.
