Each attempt to get a piece of armor takes 2 or 3 minutes. That's 8 attempts with full energy, about 20 minutes, if you have bread it could be hours... if I already completed the level, why waste time? Why doesn't it give you the reward directly just by spending the energy once you have completed it? You can't invest all your time in the game, there are more things to do in life, surely many people leave the game for this reason. There are things that are okay to invest time in the game, but repetitive farming is not one of them.
#Absurd waste of time for farming

10 bread to run the dungeon with an option to spend 5WA to insta complete sounds fair to me
I mean, my only advice is to git gud. dont be lazy and keep on optimizing your team. doing all dungeons at 40 secs. ezpz
you mean get lucky right?
Lucky with what? its all about knowing your units and what kind of gears you need. Example, i hit 150m on end game dragon on Day 1, Day 2 i made changes, 201m. Your teams can always be adjusted. Are you using the right units for the dungeon? Are you using the right sets? Is there a better line up?
We're talking about dungeon speedrunning. You say it's easy to farm all dungeons in 40 seconds but that's not the case for everybody. You need specific damage champs to do that and usually witch's remains. You can't just theorycraft your way to that. It's not a matter of 'getting good' at the game. You need to pull the champs that allow you to do it, and/or pull a dupe champion that allows you to get a witch's remains.
its applying to all content. Dungeon speedrunning too. If you dont have the artifacts or champs that would be optimal for the content, figure out what could. If not invest in summons. If you're complaining about not being able to complete content in whale speed when you're free to play, what do you expect? if you know you're on the F2P route, optimize earlier by rerolling. Its always gonna be expected that F2P may not clear things in speed unless you're really lucky and you know how to make the best teams, otherwise, why would people whale? 🙃
That's what he's saying. It takes too long to farm dungeons. So you agree.
i dont think its too long for me. :>
ok so that's all you had to say, instead of telling him it's basically his fault because he can theorycraft and optimize his way to ez 40 second dungeon times. When I said actually it's more based on luck than planning and optimization, you disagreed, but then you replied to just spend more $$$ on helio dice, which is not related to the suggestion at all. Good talk dude.
im pretty sure there are definitely ways for him to optimize to get a better team with better timing and you're obviously not reading my argument. but met. no fs given
i read your argument. You said it's easy to get 40 second dungeon times. I said you need to be lucky to hit those times. You disagreed.
Are there things he can do to speed up his times? Yes of course, but you're not taking a 3 minute run to 40 seconds unless you have specific champions. THAT IS ALL I WAS SAYING, but you wanted to argue that point, except you ultimately agreed with me, so why argue if you agree with me?
hmm maybe i read yours wrongly. In anycase, this crappost is a waste of time. " You can't invest all your time in the game, there are more things to do in life, surely many people leave the game for this reason" once I saw this, im done. let him quit the game
Not saying I agree with the statement but there are a number of players who feel that way. I don't know if it's significant enough to warrant changes, but I have heard the sentiment repeated before.
There is a lot of 'busywork' in this game because they try to drag out 1 month of content into 3 months by making us repeat fights, and the gear dungeons lose all meaning in the last month / month and a half because gear disappears when server resets, but that's not really the point of the post.
When a game starts feeling like a part time job or a chore instead of fun and exciting, that means the content is stale, and I think this game needs to find a good balance when trying to do a 3 month season, because the grind needs to have decent motivators to be engaging.
You can say what ever you want about gear in this game but it seems so prevalent that attack gear is so stacked with a defense stats and vice versa for the defense gear. How many times have you rolled for the first stat on a piece of gear and time after time it gives you a stat that is worthless to that piece or perhaps not totally worthless but it diminishes the quality of the piece. Then you roll to upgrade it and its like the game knows which stat is the most worthless on the piece and thats where it lands. Or better yet how many times have you gotten a single hit on 3 out of the 4 stats and say watch this be a one hit on each of the stats. So many times we grind and spend so much time on trying to find a piece of gear we can say is really good. I believe in my heart this gear stat is not totally RNG. Raid shadow legends was never this bad.
I've definitely noticed a severe lack of attack % chestplates and it feels like these are weighted lower. As far as the other issue, that's usually how rng will feel. Your bias is to notice the times a gear piece doesn't roll well for you, when in reality it's just the fact that there are so many variable stats a gear can land on.
I do feel like the rng is way too much in gear when the season is only 3 months and we don't have the benefit of building a stash of gear over time to combat heavy rng. We are basically forced to use sub-optimal gear all season, get a few really good pieces if you're lucky, and then have to do it all over again. There should be a mechanic to keep some gear season to season but it doesn't unlock until like journey level 40 or until 1.5 months or w/e the unlock requirement might be.
It's definitely not enough to warrant changes bc everytime this comes up, the post gets a 🤔 or 🤡. I made the mistake of asking about this in general chat bc I thought I was simply missing how to instant complete a raid. This is a quality of life feature that I can't see a downside for (not to mention it is not uncommon in other games). Anyway, now I just ghost this channel to commiserate with those who don't like watching raids 😆.
I have played many gotcha games. Its not any different from the horn summons this is not a True R N G . I have rolled so many pieces of gear you start to notice a pattern. Call it anything you want but I played all season long and there are some pieces I never got at all. Either pos or neg runes or chest/ gloves so pls don't tell me its typical. And Im not saying stats I just want to the piece to show up.
I dont care that it dont roll well How about let me have a piece to wear
