This is going to infuriate your player base if you do this. It's extremely unfair to new season 1 only servers if you merge closed beta servers onto them or vice versa. I think you will see a lot of pushback on this.

Yeah I'll be rightfully upset if this happens. There should have never been a carry over from beta season in the first place anyways, if you ask me. You're just asking for this kind of problem down the road when you give one group of players a massive advantage in a competitive game. It's not even like there's a way to catch up at this point. You can't 'outgrind' 3 months of progress. They got to keep so much of their artifact upgrade material as well. I think some beta players started season 1 with like 200k artifact upgrade materials, and they will keep 70% of that going into season 2, while the rest of us will be lucky to have 20-30k on start, so good luck competing with players who have 10 maxed artifacts right away and 3 extra months of champ pulls over you.
