I'm Arachnphobic...

I'm a new gamer, this game is the first who I'm interested at the point of focussing on it everyday. And I know that it's difficult for developpers to think of everything, and please everyone. But...

I'm arachnophobic. And in Teneebria, to get to the next part, you have to beat an arachnid, after getting purchase by it. Can you do something about it ? Make it possible to skip the battle and the purchase, change the arachnid by an other mobs, make a pop-up message to inform that it'll be an arachnid, with a Trigger Warning, or create a blurr filter. I don't know what it's possible to do, but please do something

Think about the epileptic person too. The flash light needs to be a bit less... Flashing ? (Sorry i'm french, i'm trying my best to express myself) and a Trigger Warning to appear. It's very important for us

Because for now, I can't play anymore. I can't play this part of the game. I'll be obligated to ask my brother to do this part, because of my fear. I'm not feeling safe in this zone of the map right now

I'll be thankful if you could give a care to my suggest

I said that I know it's difficult. And I JUST suggest it, because it's uncomfortable. Just a Trigger Warning would be enough. A game doesn't have to make you feel unsafe

And it's not just me, i'm sure that it exist some players that are arachnophobic too

Easier, cheaper and more productive for you to seek therapy for such a severe case of phobia that a video game representation of the fear object is enough to freak you out. If it is that bad for you, it must be scary going places, since spiders are everywhere

Unfortunately if we changed it then we would have to change things for everyone and that it not right, i will pass on about flashing lights that i can agree to look into for epilepsy but changing a part of the story because of a fear is unheard of, if that spider scares you then the boss Lady on teneebra will scare you even more as she is part spider and craps out eggs with spiders.

I know of developers who actually changed the spiders to some other type of monster in one game, i think it was Legend of Grimrock. But it was a bit different than this suggestion, they have sent that guy some patch, that overwrited the monsters. So the game code for everybody else remained unchanged. Also, no need to act like a clown and be rude, just because you don't have the same problems as the OP.

Yes, I understand that, it's difficult. I'm just asking for some change to make it more cumfortable. My brother make me think of a blurr filter ? Like, we're able to see the action, just the spider « desappear » to our vision

The game, “Grounded,” uses a toggle in the menu to replace all spider tagged sprites with a orange ball model. Its happened before, but is a bit out of scope post release I’d guess
