Grey screen

So my game boots up but it had frozen or wasn’t responding while I went to do this mission for event had to place an artifact then enter into a deeper place where you meet gnome fire girl but it looked like a cave u enter and music kept playing but nothing loaded for like 15 minutes I tried reloading game now I just get the music and a grey screen when I “enter game”
