it also applies poison and/or frost from allied team even if no where near the range of such spell or battle skill nor target of the spell

EVEN HAS A CHANCE TO RECEIVE FROZEN AND MAYBE WITH OTHER CC'S and may just be applying damage to the wearer not reducing damage to allies

Regarding the issue you're encountered, kindly note that the three-piece effect of Ancestral Protection triggers the passive effects of the enemy heroes Dench (Poison) and DorKuraz (Ice) when distributing basic attack damage for allies.

The three-piece set effect of Ancestral Protection's equipment shares damage taken from friendly sources and does not share friendly buffs. Dorkuraz and Dench's passive abilities involve adding Derivative Cold Damage and Derivative Poison Damage to basic attacks. When a hero equipped with Ancestral Protection provides damage sharing to allies, it also shares the basic attack damage from Dorkuraz and Dench. According to the description of Dorkuraz and Dench's passive abilities, basic attacks include additional Derivative Cold Damage and Derivative Poison Damage.

that is not the problem, what I am asking is it suppose to apply the FROST AND/OR POISON DEBUFFS to the wearer when applied to the wearer's allies, I am not asking about DOES IT SHARE DAMAGE.
