The escape key does NOT close every window. Some times you have to click the <-- -back arrow. It should perform as a back arrow as well. ;\ Super annoying to drag mouse up to toop right to hit back arrow when EScape is right there.

Regarding ESC key button issue, we would like to let you know that this button is using to open menu or Return to the pervious menu.
According to your reply it seems to this button is not working well, we recommend you to click Settings --> Buttons --> Click on reset button.
