Like a lot of games, the developers implement a shop that takes advantage of extra duplicates summoned via gacha chance. Example: for every dupe lego pulled when that lego is already 5 inspiration, give player 1 token. Upon reaching 5 tokens, allow players to select a hero from a full list of legendary heroes. For 10 tokens, allow for an exclusive/limited collaboration hero to be selected. Duplicates of heroes in the shop may be purchased multiple times for inspiration or to purchase exclusive artifacts. Shop should update every season with every new legendary hero not previously available for purchase.
Simple solution, allowing players who spend a great deal of money on the game to capitalize on their continued spending.
Infinite inspiration is NOT the way to go… it introduces pay to win power creep that will result in a never-ending spiral of required spending to remain on top… and those who spend a lot will not abide by that type of extreme cash grab methodology. 🍻
