I somehow worked it all out myself without any help.

Basically I found the Epic Chest, but even opening that didn't unlock the Epics.
I think it might have been a timed thing because status changed on the Epic I clicked on and I didn't know what it meant.
Eventually somehow the epics were unlocked and when I saw them all they have -+ buttons for each to add (to select)
Bingo !

Upon checking we were able to confirm thar the "Epic Heroes Selectable Chest" has not been used yet and is still in the backpack, please restart the game and check whether it has been used or not, if it's not resolved please let us know we will be more than glad to help you.
