The dice rolling on this horn is the major factor of disappointment. It constantly rolls very low as the chances to get a legendary are for sure not 5 %. But with a D20 you expect these chances. Chance the dice to better represent the real chances. Make it a percentile roll with 2D10 or something more akin to the probabilities.

5% yeah right lol bet they forgot to put 0. before the 5
I did some testing with this... now I know it's only a small sample, but started multiple accounts across multiple servers over various days, and the results lead me to believe that it really isn't a 5% chance. I would really love nothing more than to see someone datamine it and find the true rates.
I have done almost 150 rolls on this (2 rolls a day over 12 days over 6 accounts):
The highest result was a 19. Not even a 20.
I have had 12 rolls in the 15-19 range.
20 results in the 1 - 4 range.
Everything else has been in the 5 - 14 range (most common result was a 6 on the die).
Even at a relatively small sample number, I would expect more results in the 15-19 range, even if there was no 20. Needless to say, I'm incredibly disappointed by this, and as such highly doubt this is a true d20 roll.
Thanks for your numbers...I have the similiar gut feeling concerning the d20 roll...therefor my proposal to make it a percentile roll. The d20 for the horn is just pure frustration
I've rolled about 35 times by now (counting both accounts). More than 25 of those have been an 8 (not a "5 to 14", literally the dice shows an 8), if it were a regular die I would've discarded it because it's unbalanced.
The horn is obviously botched.
I suggest at least make it less obvious.
I'd just rather they tell us the truth in regards to that. I don't care so much about "obvious", but rather honesty.
I guess that basic maths would say that you have 25% chance to get a 15-20.
But it doesn't happen, also what is the point of choosing desired traits eg. Melee, ranged etc that would. Make the probability even lower and it's near impossible already
yep, lol, i am playing from the first day, and my best roll was 13.
if you roll a d20 30 times, there should be a roll what is more than 13.
if devdlopers do not want to give lego, then add some crystals for artifact, but dont says that is a dice roll, or it is random.
I rolled over a 15 once and I've rolled atleast 30 times.
I would save up for more than just one at a time but I don't care for the red dot
@scarlet wasp today I also tried roll 4 times in a row, guess what? My best result was 8.
Agreed
the horn BLOWS lol
The horn is 100% not a dice roll. I think it might even be the same percentages as the heliolite. Pretty scammy to say your game is dice-based and then mess with the odds
Well sucks for u guys , ivr gitten caspar + spectral troll
Have yet to roll above an 8 in the past 2 weeks. It’s clearly not random. But whatever, doing it completes a daily that gives some other stuff. If it wasn’t for the annoying red dot, I wouldn’t bother with it at all.
waow, guys, after 3 weeks i just rolled my first 17.
That's like 42 rolls and one 17 is your highest?
@scarlet wasp Yes. 41 rolls was 13 or below, and this one was 17 only :)))
I play from 1st day, every day did all what I could, rolled all the purple and golden dice, horn, and I have only Errich from One Step Ahaed event.
Such is life.
Just adding to THIS post. 11 days, 2 rolls a day over 6 accounts, for a total of 132 rolls, and I have some amazing news!!!! The rolls are actually WORSE!!!
Again, I get that this is "completely random" and I understand how percentages and and probability work, but this is either INCREDIBLY unlucky, or something is seriously wrong. Here are my results.
The reaults:
I rolled a 17. This is the only one in the 15+ range.
A total of 54 rolls that were between 6 and 14.
The rest of the rolls were in the 1 to 5 range. That's 77 rolls that resulted in a roll of 5 or less.
I've been playing tabletop RPG's (mainly D&D) for over 20 years and have NEVER seen results like that. I ve had many bad rolls in a row, but nothing like THAT. And I've bever seen or heard of anyone rolling so consistantly bad.
:/
I can attest I’ve never rolled above a 12 and have been playing since day 1 release.
I have more epics from common summons and more commons from the epic dice....
Playing from Day one I still did not had any 15+ yet... So it's obviously fake percentage and not a d20 roll.
I blew the horn since the start of this game. That’s like over 3 weeks now, no? I only got two epics out of it. No leggo at all
...the die clatters across the table...
I got 1 epic I recall but I could have forgotten another...and actually the epic I got was good. I forget which one.
@scarlet wasp and the saddest thing is those 2 epics I got were both dupes 🤦🏻♂️
Something I've only JUST realised is the selections before blowing horn are NOT requests for a hero. They are a cod3!
I base this, anecdotally because I haven't kept records, on the summon result vs the lights that light when the hero comes in - they do not match.
I think the odds of getting the next hero on the other side of the gate are pretty slim - something like 1:405,000 (conservatively).
So the code guesses weigh the dice for or against the hero, of which there is no way to know which is waiting.
The real problem with the horn is that devs told us that starlight invocation wouldn't grant any legendary cause we can get them through the otherworldly horn, but all can see that the horn is clearly manipulated and doesn't respect dice probabilities. So, looks to me that is clearly working as intended to negate F2P or low payers players legendary characters.
/roll
I figured I should report here since it's like a miracle but I rolled a 19 today and got my first Clovis.
Not a bug , 18 - 20 = 18: 1% , 19: 2%, 20: 100% chancr of lrgo
Rolling over a 15 seems extraordinary is what I mean
@scarlet wasp once i rolled 17, and get a totally useless epic hero 🙂
Just rolled a 15 (first time ever getting a double digit roll), and unlocked epic Isitarian. No idea if he’s any good yet, but it’s the first decent roll in the month I’ve been playing.
Huge update guys!!! I rolled a 20, finally!!! Woo! Got me a horseman.
Now, the account I rolled that on, I have only ever selected one of 4 options:
Ranged, damage, ice, or lightning. It's always been ONE of those selections (never selected more than one option). On the roll I got him on, I picked "Ranged".
So thi whole thing makes no sense to me. At all. 😂😂😂
what? rolling 1, 3 times in a row is pretty good I thought...
I have two accounts I use including 4 others I levelled to 25 for the bond. Estimating around 200/225 horns, have rolled +15 twice, that beinf said, the horn is something easily that could have not been included in the game, to stop yourself from tilt and becoming bitter, it’s worth reminding yourself of that fact that it’s free stuff regardless.
I rather the horn give random resources tbh
I'd just rather it wasn't so clearly manipulated. Beginning to take it personally that I'm not allowed to have a legendary (even though I've spent money on the game) and then I come up against other players who have been given 5-6 legend heroes.
If they want players to remain then they need to start making it a little fair... before ppl who have paid start saying enough and playing anything else.
Bloody weighted die. If I got as many 20s as I got 1s, I'd have multiple teams of legos. Even the intervals shown are incorrect, as you get "sorry, no hero, have a couple gems instead" so often. Really, just show us d% and be done with it.
Totally agree. Just dumped this thing. It's a waste of time. I have gotten one epic hero in 300 or more rolls. It's a waste or improve the probabilities.
Do the roles they make you pick even work ?
I don't see how it even matters since you're gonna get a 5 and some common hero you've got, or "Oh, here's 5 upgrade diamonds (Idk the name, lmao)"
Obviously, there's not a 1/20 chance there. For this reason, there is no indication of percentages in the description. Since the horn is free, the law on loot boxes does not apply to it, so it remains to guess what percentages are there. You can also see that a potion has been prepared there to give charges to this horn, but they cannot be purchased, because as soon as the potion can be bought with currency, the law will come into force)
More and more people starting to realize....this isn't an actual dice roll game. You either need to come to terms with whatever little they give you (and the christmas event being a clear tell tale sign)...2 lego dice rolls for the event when it takes 35 to reach pity....or get a 2nd mortage on your house and use the entire funds to be good at this game. That's it. Their notion of "we want rares and epics to be viable" is laughable.
Yup and its the laughable ho ho hose
I mean, I was dumb enough to ignore the dice rolls.
