Clan quests where you have to fish piranha, or kill foxes etc is a bit of a chore when you are doing more end game content. Can these quests scale? e.g. intead of donating piranha, do something like tuna instead.

I had heard that clan quests already had a system to have quests adapted to the overall level of the clan but I think that is false because the quests are systematically all low even if you wait.

I don’t want to donate my precious tuna on my Ironman, rather give the quest my trash than my goods. Why though? The only incentive I could see is more clan credits for higher leveled items

Clan quests have no real purpose anymore due to lack of variety and balance with resource production.

The issue is that these quests now just provide easy credits, as one high-level player can produce all the resources in under 15 minutes.

  • For clans with low-level players, it's not an issue, it's their only option.
  • For high-level clans, it's not a problem either, as they have other ways to earn credits, but can easily inflate their credits by buying free resources at their level.
  • For clans with mixed levels, it creates several problems.

It's not just about losing useful resources if this suggestion happens, as it would also involve resources like tuna, algae, titanium, etc. But also resources between small and large resources depending on the level.

Well first, it's an idle game. If something takes 15 minutes out of each day..that seems reasonable to me? How long would you want it to take? an hour for an idle game? Idk - also noticed there wasn't a single reference to my main point of ironman mode. Clans have 10 gabajamazillion clan credits stocked up so it doesn't matter to them, they don't even do the daily items/kills as far as I'm aware/concerned

Like I said before though, IF giving better resources gave more clan credits, I wouldn't mind that

I was mostly talking about this for just one player. 15 minutes or less is the hypothetical time needed to produce all the resources, because they are so easy to get.

I'm not saying it needs to take forever, but simply that clan quests are not representative enough to be considered actual "clan quests." This is because the resources required are too small.

There are indeed clans that are very rich in credits, no matter what kind of player profile they have. Because of that, yes, they don’t need to do clan quests anymore. They’ve had plenty of time to do very easy quests, in addition to the credits earned from bosses. But doesn’t this mean it’s time to make clan quests harder to stop credits from being produced in just 2 seconds? It’s in everyone’s best interest for an update to be made to the daily clan quests while updates are still occasionally being made to improve the clan shop

Also, just because today clan quests are no longer useful for the rich doesn’t mean the system should stay like this. Furthermore, no one is forcing or will force the top players to do the clan quests in the current way to earn credits for the clan.

I think that by improving the quests, there’s no need to give more credits to make up for the loss of useful items. However, having a system that adapts the quests to the number of players in the clan and the overall level, to offer the most appropriate quests (in terms of items and the amount to produce) would make more sense.

I understand what you're saying - but the only thing I'm seeing as being a positive from introducing this is for these clan quests to be more..interactive I suppose? Like when you get 90 hp, you start getting assigned boss quests on your daily quests, so that could also apply to the guild quests. I think a bigger problem personally is having nothing to spend clan credits on for veteran clans that have every upgrade.
