wait, actually you might be right! I was wondering why the spider has killed me twice when I said nothing, did not move and all of a sudden the spider comes for me when my teammates were talking. This could explain that issue.

This would actually explain SO MUCH of my grief with the spider! It feels like half the time it runs at me I'm not even doing anything

i am starting think it has something to do with just the Host in general after the Spider has been at least aggroed once. For example, i was doing a solo run and the first time i encountered the Spider it walked right past me with no issues; just sat there and watched it. The next time i encountered the Spider (after it was aggroed from a distance due to me kicking a door across the map and calmed down) i did the same exact thing of just sitting still and watching it; it walked passed like normal for about a couple feet then all of a sudden turned and aggroed right to me even though i was not making any sound or moving. I would have to test it out some more so, but starting to see this happen more and more frequently in the public lobbies.

it seems to only happen to host, oddly enough. at least that is the statements that were given.
