I noticed that there's an API for collection log and considered building something out for personal use, but just wondering if a group collection log is something that's been brought up or possibly on the cards already?

Hi! It has been indeed already suggested and I believe we also have a work item in Github for that suggestion, see https://github.com/evansloan/collection-log/issues/26 & https://github.com/evansloan/collectionlog.net/issues/37.
As far as I am aware this is something that is not in progress, but you are always welcome to contribute in any way for this.
We can also keep this suggestion open for more input and suggestions.

I have a decent bit of work done for this spanning back the past year or so, but with all the changes made to the plugin/site in the past 3 or 4 months it will need to be revisited.
