I found a thread that mentions this from about a year ago, but I have a bit more to add to this one.

I love the ability to give winners Augments, but I think the game needs some additional options to really help players balance games for themselves.

My issue in the current iteration where if winners can also pick augments, a player who has a really strong build immediately will continue to outpace the other players who are catching up. I've also had games where I have no points, but there are multiple others at match point, and it is impossible to win the full game if I'm expected to keep a mid build with everyone else being strong already getting more cards.

I'd love to see the game keep track of certain conditions the player may be in, and allow us to modify the draw behavior for each case.

Examples of conditions:
        
    1. Player is in 1st place.
    2. Player has Match Point
    3. Player is in Last Place

Examples of modifiers:

    1. Player does not draw.
    2. Player recieves a draw modifier. (For example, Winner gets -1 draw amount.)
    3. Player recieves a reroll modifier. (For example, last place gets an additional reroll.)
    4. Player receives a hand size modifier. (For example, Winner gets 1 less card to choose from.)

try going to modding server there is a person there already changing what augments themselves do so maybe they could do this as well
