The other day I was killed while piloting a drone and the round ended. When the next round started, I saw that I still had the drone in one of my item slots, so I deployed it. It worked normally, but then when I used all of its bomb charges, the screen went back to my character, but I could not move, and all of my abilities were silenced. Eventually, I died to the wall and the next round my movement/abilities were back to normal.
Assuming this had to do with the round ending while piloting the drone, and the drone not being removed from my pockets.
